I suppose it makes sense. How do u deal with time change, u ignore the concept 🤷🏼♂️
The Rams are all in for the night.
It's 9:45 PM in Melbourne. They slept on the flight over and will sleep now in the hotel for one night and they'll wake up and play a football game in 12 hours.
This isn't some trial and error approach. They've sent 15 staffers over last 2 years and have tracked their bodies and sleep rhythms. This was deemed the approach. No turning back now.

The strangest thing about having a kid is that you suddenly have a physical extension of yourself out there in the world. When they feel joy, you feel joy. When they feel pain, you feel pain. But unlike with yourself, you aren’t really in control of what they experience. And if you try to be, it probably won’t work out all that well. So it really is the ultimate test of faith. Just letting go and trusting that you’ve prepared them for whatever they’ll face. Or that they’ll learn to adapt to it. Terrifying in a lot of ways. But enormously gratifying, too. Nobody really teaches you how to navigate it. And there’s nothing else like it in your life.
I feel you @damienwoody

If one more person starts talking about summer being over I’m going to get violent. Summer doesn’t end until September 21st. You can all still go to the pool and lay out in the sun in September. The world is burning up. Leave your pumpkin propaganda for October
A great lesson to all players!
I can tell how your day at Carnoustie is going to go by what club you pull on the first tee.
The biggest mistake good players make here.
I've seen it all over the years. 20+ HC and +4. People coming to test themselves at Scotland's toughest course. I want to talk about the good players. Scratch or better. I see them fairly regularly.
They show up to test their game, but in their head they are here to beat her into submission.
So. The first. It's a 401 par 4. The fairway necks in at 265 ish and there's a lot of undulation pushing you to the bunker right.
There is 1 spot on this fairway that gives you line of sight at the flag and the green.
That's 240-260, left half of the fairway.
Not a driver for a scratch player.
Pull out a driver and I can see you think you can tame this magnificent beast. I'll bet on the course every time, and I'll win that bet every time.
She's too well designed. 184 years and she's not only stood the test of time, she's devoured it. So well protected, so well bunkered, so well shaped. The trouble that drive gets you into will be too penal to recover from.
I saw it with a young guy a few weeks back. This kid could drive it 320+. But wanted to do it all the time.
5th hole, par 4, downwind. He chose driver against his caddie's advice. Drove the green, ended up in a bunker past the pin with the ball at the bottom of the face and zero shot.
The course did that to him all day. He got himself in so much trouble and was unhappy with his round.
My point is this. The greatest bombers of the game have played here. How many of them have won?
Carnoustie is a thinking man's golf course. Yes, there are plenty of holes to spank a driver. You still need position as much as distance.
You play Carnoustie on her terms, not yours.
Bomb and gouge comes to die at Carnoustie.

Shaquille O’Neal says the solution to making the WNBA more exciting is to lower the rim so players can dunk
“In men’s beach volleyball and women’s beach volleyball, the net is lowered just a little bit”
“The only thing missing from the WNBA to the NBA game is the dunk. I’m not saying lower it to 9 feet or 8 feet… so they can dunk”
“I think if they did that, it would make the game more exciting. They got the handles, they got the shooters, they got the showmanship, they just don’t have the dunk. Just imagine if you lower the rim just a little bit”
