At the UNICEF India’s South Regional Conference on Secondary Education in India held in Kerala, our director Niveditha Menon was part of the panel 'Operationalizing Secondary Education System Reforms - Policies, Finance and Evidence.'
Niveditha Menon, Director of CBPS delivered a lecture on ‘Gender and Public Policy’, organised by SIEDS Bengaluru at their office. The lecture was attended by members of SIEDS and CBPS, as well as a few members of other civil society organisations from across Bengaluru.
Menon’s talk delved into the imaginations of gender in public policy, using insights from various projects by CBPS. She illustrated the way the state engages with the larger politics of gender, by examining gender as a concept, subject, citizen, collective, and future.
