Counting's not done yet, but if this holds...
YES on all 9, and 1 in 4-5 Albertans ready for a referendum on separation
That's still a big win for the independence crowd imo
Immigration mandate seems clear, constitutional too but close on some q's
& separatism made it happen

Thank you, Alberta!
I’m very pleased to see the initial results from Elections Alberta show widespread support for remaining in Canada. Albertans have voted for a stronger Alberta in a united Canada.
Thank you to all Albertans who took time to vote on these critically important referendum questions.
Tomorrow evening, October 20, I will address Albertans live at 6:45 p.m. to discuss the results of all referendum questions for which results are available, and where our province goes from here.

Disagree? Debate it. Vote against it.

Peter is my MLA.
Poor Peter. What a touching story. In 1980, while his family was living in Iraq, Canada came to save them.
Meanwhile, at the same time here in Alberta, the National Energy Program was being pushed on us by Ottawa. The NEP program went on to devastate hundreds of thousands of Alberta families, and nearly destroyed our province.
Ottawa killed our industry. Capital fled. Families lost everything.
Now I understand why Peter is loyal to Canada and not Alberta.

This guy who spoke today in Edmonton at the Khalistani event was once sentenced to life imprisonment for plotting to blow up an airplane leaving JFK Airport in New York ✈️💣
But because he's part of an "identifiable group" no one in establishment media or politics gives a shit.
Alberta Referendum: Khalistan Vote Held at the Legislature
Sikhs for Justice held a non-binding protest "referendum" on the Alberta Legislature grounds in Edmonton today to "liberate Punjab" from Indian "occupation," just a day before Albertans vote in a binding independence referendum.
Sikhs for Justice's Ottawa organizer, Santokh Singh Khela, appeared on stage at the legislature grounds wearing a purple turban, this time without the metal axe he usually carries. A self-admitted member of the Canadian Sikh terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa, Khela was once sentenced to life imprisonment for a bomb plot, hatched in Montreal, targeting an Air India flight departing from JFK Airport in New York.
Meanwhile, another Sikhs for Justice organizer who took the stage in Edmonton today, "Dr." Bakhshish Singh Sandhu, was found to have obtained his medical diploma from a fraudulent Dominican medical school that operated for only four years before U.S. authorities shut it down for massive diploma fraud.
"Kill Modi Politics" and "Long Live Khalistan" slogans echoed across the grounds, and a minute of silence was held for the Wainwright tragedy.
