ALT Obsidian pin up from Infinity Inc era. Obsidian is phasing out from a shadow on the side of a building with a slight smile in his face.

ALT Nuklon is sliding down the wing of the JSA's landed aircraft with a big smile on his face. Obsidian is sitting on the tip of the wind, looking sullen. Nuklon: "You see, Todd? We did it! If you don't think this is worth major cool points with the league, you're lost!" Obsidian: "I know, Albert. And I'm trying to be thrilled. But suddenly I've got this dark, cold feeling..." Nuklon places a hand on his face, exasperated. Nuklon: "Todd, you had a dark, cold feeling when we went to see Dumbo!" Obsidian: "I know, Albert. But this one's different." Justice League America #93
![Obsidian calming Black Lantern Roy Harper. He has his shadow tentacles around Roy's arms and body to keep him still while he talks him down. Obsidian: "... But now I know it's so I can help others frind their way in it [the dark]. You're never alone, Roy..." Roy: "... Thank you..." Jade: "You're good at this, bro!" Obsidian: "I learned it from you and dad, Jade." Infinite Frontier #6](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FwuCMqBaUAATVoE.jpg?name=small&format=webp)

ALT Obsidian and Deadshot fighting. Obsidian's shadows look like roots and they're tangled around Deadshot. Obsidian: "It's the same wound." Deadshot: "Get out of my head!" Obsidian: "Betrayal, abandonment, people torn from us... It's the same wound, Floyd! It's why we both rush toward death!" Deadshot: "Get... Out!" Obsidian: "But the blood of the wound, Floyd... the pain... That's life, too! Do you see that?" Justice League America #106

ALT Sun-Spider's introductory panel and first comic appearance as a main character rather than a background fighter in a Spider-Verse comic. The rest of the page will be in the next image! Sun-Spider swings through the city using her crutches as web shooters, her wheelchair is strapped to her back with webbing. text: Sun-Spider monologue: "The night I've dreamed about for four years is finally here! While it's not a Great Gatsby themed prom, "out of this world" doesn't sound too bad. Especially considering how "out of this world" it is that I was bitten by a radioactive spider three years ago. My name is Charlotte "Charlie" Webber, and I'm... SUN-SPIDER! Yeah... yeah... save your Charlotte's Web jokes-- I've heard 'em all." Edge of Spider-Verse Vol 2 #4

ALT Sun-Spider lands, gets changed into her prom dress (a rainbow gown with matching elbow-length gloves), gets into her wheelchair, and heads towards the school. text: Sun-Spider monologue: "I get so much more respect as Sun-Spider, the disabled hero, than I do as Charlie Webber. When I'm Charlie, I'm either invisible, helpless, or my favorite, "that sick kid." If being Sun-Spider wasn't so exhausting due to my Ehler's-Danlos Syndrome, I would embrace this alter ego all the time. Althought, the hyper-flexibility that comes with having E.D.S. helps me kick all types of villainous butt." I wasn't expecting my E.D.S. to disappear when I became Sun-Spider, but it would've been nice if I wasn't dealing with chronic pain and fatigue all the time." Edge of Spider-Verse Vol 2 #4.

ALT Sun-Spider's initial design showcase in Spider-Verse Vol 3 #3. The art shows Charlotte's first design, as well as her seated in her wheelchair wearing a backwards ballcap, gloves, a t-shirt, and shorts. Dayna Broder's blurb about Sun-Spider: "As a disabled person, I almost never get to see any disabled superheroes. I wanted to create someone like me: an ambulatory wheelchair user, who can still kick butt in her own modified way. Sun-Spider is hyper-flexible, though this does have drawbacks since it means she requires extra stability, and the crutches help with that."

ALT An example of Sun-Spider's hyper-flexibility at work when she slips into a manhole during a fight with Doc Ock after he threw her through a window, briefly evading him. text: Doc Ock: "I am not a squid-- I am an octopus! Looks like someone has underestimated the power of... Doc Ock!" Sun-Spider: "Doctor? You haven't even graduated high school yet! Senior Squid is a much better fit." Doc Ock: "Wait till I show you exactly what an octopus can do." Sun-Spider lifts the lid of the manhole up with her webs, and quickly slips in. Sun-Spider monologue: "If I can time this right, I should be able to dislocate my hip and arms to fit and then..." Edge of Spider-Verse Vol 2 #4.
