In Gaza, where access to drinking water has become a daily struggle, we continue distributing water every single day to displaced families, reaching forgotten camps where humanitarian aid rarely arrives.
💔 Children carry heavy water containers on their small shoulders, walking long distances in search of water. Mothers wait for hours, hoping to return to their tents with enough water for their children.
In Gaza, children run toward water trucks the way children elsewhere run toward their toys. They stand in long lines, holding empty containers, desperately waiting for their turn.
💧 We distribute water every day, but the need is becoming more desperate. Fuel shortages threaten water pumping stations, while disruptions to the main water pipeline deepen the crisis.
Every truck brings relief, but tomorrow those containers will be empty again.
💔 We never want to tell a thirsty child that our water truck won’t arrive tomorrow.

Before the genocide, Gaza had approximately 2 million olive trees. More than 90% have been lost to the occupation's destruction. Trees that stood for generations, providing food, income, and sustenance to Palestinian families, are gone.

The olive harvest is more than a tradition in Palestine. It is our history, our identity, and our connection to the land passed down through generations.
Despite the loss and destruction, here in Nuseirat on October 8, we are still teaching children how to harvest olives from the trees that remain. Despite everything they have lost, families still feel blessed by what their land provides.
This is Palestine. Gratitude for every olive, love for every tree, and a determination to pass these traditions to the next generation.

I have my critiques of No Kings-style protests but as it happens I actually know some of the “boomer” activists in this video and it’s worth noting they spend countless hours doing immigrant activist work; bringing them food, diapers, helping them with school forms, etc.

I was walking today, watching the tired faces of people — as is my habit. The faces were filled with sadness, exhaustion, and despair. I noticed an elderly man asking every person in the street: “Have you found my wife? Have you found my children?”
When I approached him, he asked me the same questions. I didn’t know what to say. I told him, “I hope you find them soon.” What puzzled me more was that people weren’t answering him. When I asked one of the passersby about him, they told me that this old man is the sole survivor of his family. His wife and all his sons and daughters were killed in a massacre committed by Israel two years ago, and he has been in this state ever since.
I didn’t know what to say! Every corner of this city is crying bitterly.
