Just putting @netflix @AmazonUK and @AppleTV on notice - if you plan on charging a licence fee on behalf of the BBC, I will cancel my subscription in an instant. For Amazon in particular you’ll need to unbundle your TV service from Prime because I’m not paying the BBC for free parcel delivery.

BBC/Netflix/Amazon Prime/Disney subscriptions - 1st November cancellations Under the current blueprint being drawn up for the upcoming BBC Charter Review, any household that pays for an Amazon Prime subscription could be legally required to hold a TV Licence, even if they completely avoid BBC iPlayer and live television. The government intends to treat Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Disney+ identically under this new framework. My advice is to wait until the 1st of November and cancel everything you can - just for a month or two. If everyone does it on the same day, a real message will get sent to the businesses that can actually fight back against it. You can always rejoin later.

This is a ridiculous and abusive use of state power. Those officers should refuse to do this.
🚨We are now in a place where a whole town gets locked down by the Government for a boat that has not arrived…. Gosport. Haslar Bridge shut. Coaches at Fort Blockhouse. Masks banned. A dispersal order on the entire town until 7am Tuesday. Anyone who wants to stand there is sent to a car park. If not you’re threatened with arrest.. The boat is still in French waters. The government will not even say this is the landing. Last time, they took the people to Dover.

Labour is backing down from their reckless plans for local government reorganisation - thanks to us. After our judicial reviews in Reform-led councils, they've cancelled or paused their plans across the country. Only Reform has the backbone to stand up to the government. Unlike the establishment parties, we put our money where our mouth is.

The BBC just brought a credentialed talking head onto Radio 4 to attack the details of Reform’s plan to defend the Channel. He got every detail wrong. They then had to admit on air he HAD NOT EVEN READ our plan (it’s only being published at 11am). Incredible.

🚨David Lammy is taking legal action to block the publication of crime rates of foreign nationals. Tory and Labour governments hid this data from the public. Now the Ministry of Justice is seeking to overturn a ruling by the Information Commissioner that data revealing the full scale of foreign offending in England and Wales from 2018 to 2024 should be published. The reason is obvious: the Tories and Labour want to cover up the impact of their immigration betrayal. As Home Secretary I would publish this data immediately. The British people deserve the truth.

This is a subsidy farm, not a solar farm. Without government subsidies it would not be built. Your taxes are subsidising farmland destruction.
This month the Energy Secretary approved his third large solar farm in a fortnight, one of them on prime farmland across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire that his own inspectors told him to refuse. They walked the site. They said no. He signed it anyway. So here's the grand plan. Take some of the best food-growing soil in England, ground that has fed people for a thousand years, and bury it under glass panels shipped in from China to catch the famous Lincolnshire sunshine. In a country where the sun knocks off mid-afternoon for half the winter and turns up for roughly eleven per cent of the year, we are concreting over arable land to harvest photons that mostly aren't there. A British solar field spends most of its life doing an impression of a very expensive greenhouse with the plants missing. The panels tilt hopefully at a grey sky. The soil beneath them, some of the finest in the country, sits in the dark for forty years quietly learning to be a car park. And it doesn't come back. Not in your lifetime. They are making a permanent decision about a temporary energy fashion, on ground you cannot un-glass, against the written advice of the men they pay to give it, in the same fortnight the same government swears food security keeps it awake at night. Sunniest idea they've had all year.

Reform UK are united behind Farage. After the way the limp-wristed Tories threw Boris and Liz Truss under the bus, it’s refreshing to belong to a party which doesn’t accept the left’s framing of arguments or guilt before an investigation has concluded. Stuff like this matters.
