It is over $7 a gallon here in northern Callifornia! 🤬
I just paid $5.32/gallon for hi-test this morning...and I can afford it. Lots of folks can't. Donald Trump, you can take your war and stuff it up your fat and leaky ass.

2 weeks on from the sad death of our friend, confidante and mentor @thepainterflynn I took a detour off the motorway earlier this morning enroute from west to south to visit David's final resting place. What a beautiful serene cemetery for David to rest in eternal peace 🙏

This is the plight of severely disabled people. We want to work. We want to get better. We don’t want to be stuck in bed. We scream and fight for better support, medical care and treatments. No one is listening. Help is not coming. Don’t blame us. Demand better.
Pretty devastated to have become officially unemployed due to severe and incurable sickness, at the age of 35. For all those ghouls out there, I continued to work from bed until I was briefly hospitalised with dangerous heart rhythm changes during an autonomic crisis in April 2025, after having been ill since a mild COVID infection in 2021. As everyone who knows me is aware, things drastically deteriorated from that hospital incident, leaving me almost completely bedbound and reliant on full time care. No wedding. No children (apart from Rocky the cat) No job. No economic activity. My NHS GP is an absolute diamond and has finally secured my bedbound status so I can get some the basic blood tests and injections I need at home. She's also taken on all the private specialists' prescription requests and never once asked me if I'd considered getting some sunlight and going for a walk. However aside from her, the NHS does not give a F***. The government does not give a F***. The media does not give a F*** (apart from George Monbiot and less than a handful of others) My question is therefore simple. HOW DARE THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT SICKNESS RELATED ECONOMIC ACTIVITY WHEN WE ARE SCREAMING OUT FOR HELP TO GET BACK TO WORK??

You will no longer be able to access a treasurydirect.gov acct. soon as now it requires the ID.me B.S. to log-in to your account and must be done by Oct. 28, 2026! WTF! 😵
The federal government currently owes Social Security roughly $2.6 TRILLION. For decades, Social Security surpluses were invested in Treasury securities, allowing Treasury to use that cash for other federal financing while promising repayment with interest. Social Security didn’t create the national debt. It has been one of the federal government’s creditors. They are stealing our money and then blaming the American people.

They tried to get me to switch to PACE. I would have surrendered my supplemental plan and I would have never been able to get it back. Don't let them bully you into something you are not absolutely certain of!
I have had a Medigap plan since I became eligible for Medicare. I feel tremendous pressure to switch to an Advantage plan. I have a lot of health issues. I worry that Advantage might not approve my doctors and treatments.

Call it what it is Nancy: The BIG BANKRUPT AND BUST AMERICA BILL! This is what the Conman is doing the lowlife that he is! FUCK HIM. 👎👎👎
Today, provisions of the President’s Big Ugly Bill take effect that cut Medicaid and eliminate funding for SNAP, threatening the food assistance and health care that millions of Americans depend on. The President and his sycophants in Congress gleefully cheered these cuts—but there is nothing to celebrate about Americans going hungry or families going without the care they need.

OH NO! 🙄🤔😝
BREAKING: White House lawyers are warning that if a blue wave occurs in the midterms, the stress of being investigated, impeached, and turned into a lame duck on the global stage could give Donald Trump a heart attack or stroke.

The Big Bullshit Bill imo! 😱👎👎👎
They made sure that all of the cuts will take effect after the Midterms so it will look like it’s all the Democrats fault.

This is why some people in Calif. stay in their homes. It is called prop. 13. They can only raise your property taxes but just so much. I have AAA for homeowner's ins. and it has inflation protection locked into my policy so I am staying here as long as I can! 🫤
A guy in my neighborhood brought up his home insurance renewal at lunch today. He bought a modest starter home 4 years ago for $290,000. Locked in a 3.2% mortgage rate. Monthly principal & interest: $1,250. He thought he was set for life. Then his annual home insurance bill came in today: up 62% year-over-year. Property tax assessment jumped another 25%. His monthly escrow payment just went up by $510 a month…… an overnight 40% hike on his housing costs without his interest rate changing by a single basis point. He looked at me and said: "I worked my whole life to lock in a fixed-rate mortgage so my housing costs wouldn't go up, and the local government and insurance cartels just priced me out of my own home anyway." We didn't just inflate home prices. We built an economy where even when you successfully escape high interest rates, holding onto basic shelter gets taxed and insured until it consumes your entire paycheck.

Here’s the dealeeoo that no one talks on. Houses have BEEN upside down now for over a year. Banks have piles of mortgages that are under water, and they don’t know what to do. But VOTE, cuz it’s gonna help? Deeply delusional.

😓 More people losing their homes We need a moratorium or something to pause this crap until the economy improves. They're running us out of our homes, then Blackrock & Vanguard will gorge themselves on the fire sale! We'll "Own nothing & be happy" 🙄 Like the WEF orchestrated.
Paramedic call: Dispatched to a “sick call.” Me: Sir, did you call 911? Man standing outside his house. Looks obviously sad and exhausted. Him: Yes. I’m thinking about ending it all. Me: Are you armed? Any weapons we should be concerned about? Him: No. I want to go get help. Come to find out he couldn’t afford the property tax. They’re taking his home. That’s the “sick call”. God bless

They tried to off me a few weeks ago. Obviously their plan for me did not work. In fact in may have backfired up their disgusting asses I hope. Seriously, we need to dump the felon NOW! He is a criminal among 1,000+ other disgusting things! 🤢🤢🤢🤮

They’ve already told us many times it’s cheaper for them if we just die. Like if I can’t get medical care both physical and psych I may end up just ending it

I went out very briefly. Gasoline is now $7.13 a gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. I think the game is over now dumbzo dump! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Quit your bitchin'. It is $6.89 a gallon here in northern California!!!!!!! 🤬
Gas is nearly $4.50 a gallon, so what’s Trump’s answer? Let automakers build less efficient cars—meaning your family has to make more trips to the pump and pay even more to get to work.  Everything he does is at your expense. washingtonpost.com/transport…

I watched this happen in 2008. I saw millionaires revert to zero as it was all in the market. I walked away with everything in 6-1/2% CDs.
Y'all DO realize a stock market crash can wipe out your entire 401(k) before you even get to retire??!

Anyone that got on it to begin with is a fucking idiot!
Anyone still riding the Trump Train is a fucking idiot.

I fell ill in 2009 and ended up in the hospital for almost a month. I was 54 years old and the bill was over $500,000.00. Luckily, I have good insurance. Think twice before you dump it. You never know (I had no idea I was so sick!).
I’m seriously thinking of dropping health insurance in 2027. My husband and I are both 53 yrs old and healthy. I take a few prescriptions for my migraines, but my current insurance doesn’t even cover them anyway. I think we’ll join a mutualshares program, use GoodRx, and see what happens. I feel so ripped off by our insurance company. By the way, we live in CA and will have to pay a penalty for being uninsured; but even with that we will come out way ahead. Does this sound crazy?

This feral cat with a waterproof coat and a goatee and his kitten that he was a nanny to I adopted last year. I know have three cats and I would not change that for anything! They were a Petco for awhile too and were "not wanted" until I came along! 😁
My husband and I have a strict rule that no species of pet can outnumber the humans in the house (and there’s two humans and two cats right now) but we both can’t stop talking about this sweet big boy cat we’ve seen twice at petco. The last time we were like, “HOW are you still here?!” And he meowed and meowed and meowed back to us. So I fear we may break our rule if he’s still there tomorrow 😖
