2.5 years ago, I moved to New Orleans because God led us to pursue a Ph.D. in-person and serve as the Director of Alumni Engagement. I’m extremely grateful to serve this semester as Adjunct Professor for both New Orleans Seminary and Leavell College in Church Leadership.

Trust him and execute simple service in your local church. Embrace the bread and cheese season. Serve faithfully where you are and know God is doing something.

It is interesting that when we have access to something that we are more likely to neglect it. Even though we have the most access to our faith in our history, we lack the fervor to be close to God and others that persecuted believers have around the world.

Our confidence in Christ should bring us closer to God and others. The church should respond with confidence in Christ by coming closer to God by drawing near and holding fast and others by stirring them up to love and good works. open.substack.com/pub/christ…
