quite positive these sites are using the scrapes from 2025 as more recent fics are not there. Different from ao3 life since it had far too many works including very recent ones so that still remains the sketchiest thing

It has been taken down!!🙏 It definitely relied on AI scrapes done against ao3 since it hosted 15mln fics including deleted ones AND DRAFTS so the statement from the website's creator saying it relied on drives is clearly bullshit.

In light of recent ao3 related events, I have stumbled upon a website that I think authors need to be made aware of.  The website ao3 [DOT] life has been scraping and downloading fics published to ao3 for who knows how long. 🧵

-Mostly because I remember too clearly what happened with previous ff websites going up in flames I am not fine with my fic being straight up reposted on a website such as this that uses AI on top of it. I trust the OTW legals to take care of this as they have been informed.
