The America we remember is not gone.
Along the Old Tiburon Trail, where I often atone for my sins with a vigorous 8-mile ruck and film dirt-cheap commercials for Pure Talk on my iPhone, there’s a charming old gazebo where I sometimes pause to rest in the shade, gaze across the bay toward The Golden Gate Bridge, and contemplate the meaning of life. It’s called The Little Lori Gazebo, and it was built by a woman named Barbara Meislin, known to the locals as The Lady in Purple, since that’s the only color she ever wears. Barbara even lived in a purple house, until it burned down in 2009.
Anyway, the gazebo was built as a memorial to her daughter, Lori, who died very young, and I’m not the only one to enjoy its shady charm over the years. I’ve noticed however, that’s it’s been in need of repair, and last week, as I was filming one of those dirt-cheap commercials for affordable wireless while rucking along the Old Tiburon Trail, I noticed that the long overdue refurbishments had finally begun. I also met the contractor who was hired to do the work.
“Holy crap! It’s you!”
Since there was no one else around, and because the man was looking directly at me, I quickly deduced that I was the object of his query.
“You are correct,” I said. “It’s definitely me.”
The man struck me as delighted. Perhaps, a bit too delighted.
“This might sound a little creepy,” he said, “but I took this job because of you."
“You’re painting a gazebo because of me? Why?”
“I’m not just painting it,” he said. “I’m rebuilding everything below the roof.”
“Because of me?” I asked. “I don’t understand.”
“I don’t normally bid on projects this small, but I’ve been wanting to meet you for a long time. And I’ve seen those ads you do while hiking along this trail. I figured I might run into you during the work, so I bid on the gig. And now, here you are!
“You’re right,” I said. “That does sound a little creepy.”
The man laughed and walked toward me, hand out-stretched, as I unclipped the hip-strap on my ruck, just in case I had to drop the 60lbs on my back and run away. I’ve had some unusual encounters over the years and learned that running away is often the best option.
“Name’s Mike Sanguinetti,” he said. “My daughter and I have seen every episode of Dirty Jobs, and we love everything you do. I run a Painting and Construction Company here in town.”
The logo on his tee-shirt confirmed the claim. And the presence of a daughter was comforting. I relaxed.
“Mike Rowe,” I said. “Nice to meet you.”
We shook hands and Mike Sanguinetti said, “You know, I saw you in Vegas last year at SEMA, when you were auctioning off that truck for your foundation. I stood in line to meet you, but you had to go before I got a chance to hello. I waited around for hours.”
“You’re making it creepy again,” I said.
Mike laughed. “I just wanted a chance to tell you, in person, what Dirty Jobs meant to my daughter and me. Best father/daughter bonding time ever. And I really love what you’re doing for the trades. Means the world to us independent contractors.”
Like a lot of guys in the trades today, Mike Sanguinetti has a front row seat to the skills gap. He runs a small operation, and deals with all the challenges I talk about at mikeroweWORKS everyday. We talked about those challenges for a few minutes, along with the importance of a decent work ethic, and the extraordinary opportunities for those who would simply master a skill that’s in demand.
“Maxine won’t believe this,” he said. “She thinks I’m crazy for believing we’d run into each other.”
“Maxine is your daughter?” I asked.
“Yeah. She’s in high school now, plays varsity volleyball. But we still watch Dirty Jobs whenever it’s on. It’s kind of our thing, you know?”
“That’s nice,” I said. “Can I send her a video?”
“Oh my God,” said Mike. “She won’t believe it.”
Mike handed me his phone, I recorded a personal message to Maxine, and that was that. Mike thanked me for being the same guy he knew from the TV, (or at least, for appearing to be,) and I thanked him for going so far out of his way to say thanks.
“Seriously,” I said. “On a percentage basis, how much did the possibility of meeting me factor into your decision to bid on this gazebo job?”
“At least 95%. Maybe more.”
“Well, congratulations,” I said. “You’ve made it creepy again!”
Mike laughed and went back to work, as I walked off to film another commercial for affordable wireless, thinking all the while about the good fortune that allowed for two Mike’s with wildly different skill sets, to work on the same trail.
I had to travel the next couple days, but when I threw on the ruck three days later for another 8 miles of penance, I walked by the gazebo and was blown away by its transformation, and the speed with which the work had been completed. One guy, armed with the necessary skills and a work truck filled with the necessary tools was all it had taken to restore Little Lori’s Gazebo to its former glory.
I’ve attached a photo, along with a shameless plug for Sanguinetti’s Painting and Construction. He does good work. instagram.com/p/Dd7Xv8ZhI4t/
Happy Trails, Mike!
(You too, Maxine.)
PS. The Lady in Purple, Barbara Meislin, is now 91, and by all accounts, delighted by Sanguinetti's work.
Like young Maxine, Barbara has excellent taste.
I have a thought. Instead of fighting this idea let's gather these Liberal Politicians into their own utopia where they can implement all these plans. Unregulated immigration? Have at it. Tax businesses into oblivion? Have at it. Social programs for everyone? Have at it. Free everything? Wonderful!
Then we put up a wall so that they won't have to be exposed to our stupid ideas about self-reliance, independence, rule of law, etc. Wouldn't want to soil their utopia.
"No thanks, we're good. Don't need your help."
We'll all be fine so long as you don't try to enforce your ideas on us and we'll do the same for you.

Dr. Peter McCullough testified under oath at the Allison Inquiry on COVID-19 vaccine injuries. Here's what he claimed:
1. Vaccines weren't rushed
mRNA vaccines were in development for nearly a decade. He cites DARPA's 2012 ADEPT P3 program aiming to "end pandemics in 60 days" and a Sept 2019 WHO slide, 3 months before the outbreak, as evidence of pre-pandemic planning.
2. The spike protein is the "lethal part"
He claims every vaccine-Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen, AstraZeneca, Novavax-used the "lethal" spike protein as the target, something he says has "never happened in human vaccinology."
3. Vaccine injury depends on three factors
Batch variation, individual genetics, and each person's "antibody library." Those with any genetic flaw get hit there.
4. Myocarditis and death in healthy people
He cites the Aug 2021 NEJM paper on a healthy 42-year-old who died of myocarditis 3 days after Moderna. He says Israel reported 2 IDF soldiers dead from myocarditis in early 2021 and that US agencies knew by Feb 2021.
5. Vaccine components persist for years
He presented a paper claiming a patient had intact Pfizer vaccine and spike protein in his bloodstream 3.5 years after his last shot, contradicting CDC's "cleared in days" statement.
6. Spike antibody testing as a proxy
He recommends LabCorp's test: under 1,000 is fine, 5,000 is concerning, 25,000 is "in trouble."
7. "Turbo cancer"
He claims cancer is rising "hockey stick" style and cites 66 reports linking both infection and vaccination to cancer. He describes finding "part of the Pfizer code" in a young woman's bladder cancer and vaccine genetic material in a fatal cardiac tumor.
8. His treatment protocol
Nattokinase, bromelain, curcumin, colchicine, rapamycin, NAC, nicotine patches, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, hyperbaric oxygen, and therapeutic sweating. He says he's never seen a vaccine-injured patient improve without it.
9. Accusations against Canadian authorities
He accuses them of suppressing doctors, banning investigation, and blocking compassionate care. He calls it "a crime."
While official organizations like the FDA, CDC, and EMA strongly disagree with Dr. McCullough, he is not an anonymous conspiracy theorist but a formerly credentialed academic physician who testified under oath with specific citations and patient cases.
Some of his claims, such as spike protein persistence and myocarditis risk in certain populations, fall within legitimate scientific discussion, and institutions should engage with his specific technical questions rather than dismiss him by label alone.
Dismissal by label is not scientific refutation; if the consensus is robust, it should withstand direct engagement.
Dr. Peter McCullough testified at the Allison Inquiry:
"People who have taken these vaccines, in many ways, are lucky to be alive... It was designed to kill."
He claims the spike protein is gain-of-function research, and that vaccine injury depends on a "multifactorial Venn diagram" of:
- Individual genetic vulnerabilities
- Epigenetics
- Baseline health conditions
- Variation in vial concentrations
- The body's antibody library against the spike protein
On myocarditis in boys: A Harvard study (Yonkers) reportedly found that boys who developed myocarditis after vaccination had antibodies that were "missing the spike protein", allowing it to cause damage.
"We're seeing the biggest blood clots we've ever seen in medical history."
I'm not here to push any agenda. I just want to know the truth.
Some so-called experts dismiss these claims as "conspiracy theories" that foment vaccine hesitancy. But if that's the case, then prove it. These claims are alarming enough that they deserve full hands-on-deck research, not full-on protection of Big Pharma.
I just want the truth. Don't you?

John leaned on Jesus' chest at supper.
Stayed at the cross when every other man ran.
Outlived all twelve. Beaten. Boiled in oil. Exiled to a rock in the ocean.
Thirty years later, Jesus appeared to him in glory.
John didn't worship. Didn't kneel. Didn't lift his hands.
He fell at His feet as dead.
As dead.
Peter did the same thing. After the miraculous catch - boats sinking under the weight - Peter didn't celebrate.
He said: "Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord."
Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up. Seraphim crying, Holy. And the prophet said: "Woe is me! for I am undone."
Job argued with God for 37 chapters. Then God showed up. Job said: "I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes."
Every tough man in the Bible who saw the living God had the same reaction.
Not awe. Not worship.
Collapse.
Now look at us.
Walking into church with coffee. Nodding at sermons. Shaking hands in the lobby. Forgetting it by Tuesday.
We think we've been in God's presence.
If you'd been in God's presence, you wouldn't walk out the same way you walked in.
The men who saw Him couldn't stand.
We can barely be bothered to sit.
When Jesus returns, there will be no more heroes. No more performers. The hero and the villain will stand equal at last - empty-handed, bare-faced, finally free to be merely beloved...
Ah, esteemed scientist Shapiro has spoken with all authority. Oops, my bad. When the attorney and politician is confronted with FACTS he continues to gaslight and refuses to concede he might have been, cough cough, wrong. Thank you @RobertKennedyJr for calling him (and so many others) out.

At his press conference today, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro accused me of promoting conspiracy theories because I told him, during an earlier telephone conversation, that some Americans had religious objections to the MMR vaccine because it contained fetal tissue. “There is no fetal tissue in the MMR,” he told me.
This is a segment from a videotaped deposition of Stanley Plotkin, the inventor of the MMR vaccine. Plotkin admits to butchering 76 aborted normally developing fetuses, all over three months old, in just one of the many studies that led to the development of his vaccine.
The rubella virus used in MMR-II is grown on the cultured cell line composed of lung tissue from an aborted three-month-old female embryo and listed as “WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts” in the ingredients of MMR-II as portions of these cells end up in each vial of MMR II.
During Dr. Plotkin’s deposition, Attorney Aaron Siri asked: “Isn’t it true that MMR II contains approximately 150 nanograms cells substrate double-strand DNA and single-strand DNA per dose purposefully fragmented to approximately 215 base pairs in length?” Dr. Plotkin answered: “Yeah, that’s probably correct, yes.”
This equals approximately 646 billion pieces of human DNA from an aborted fetal cell line in each vial of MMR-II.
In addition to the human DNA, there is also an unspecified amount of human cellular debris in each dose of MMR-II.
During our phone conversation, Governor Shapiro also accused me of promoting vaccine misinformation. When I asked him for an example, he was unable to provide one, but this did not deter him from publicly repeating that accusation during his press event. As I told him, HHS does not tolerate misinformation by any employee. I offered to point to hundreds of instances of vaccine misinformation by the Biden administration about which I had never heard him complain.
Governor Shapiro also faulted me for the decline in Pennsylvania vaccination rates from 97% - 93.2%. When I pushed back on this assertion, he acknowledged that most of the decline occurred during the Biden administration. It’s unfortunately true that the government lockdowns, deceptions, manipulation, and overreach during Covid severely damaged public faith in the vaccine program.
Governor Shapiro’s press conference was an example of the same species of gaslighting.
The Trump administration is working to restore public trust not by gaslighting or manipulating, but by being truthful, at last, with the public.
Reading Sword and Scimitar (@RaymondIbrahim5 @VDHanson) this evening. The following struck me:
“In 1794 Algerian pirates captured eleven more American merchant vessels. Two things resulted: the Naval Act of 1794 was passed, and a permanent standing U.S. naval force was established. But because the first war vessels would not be ready until 1800, American jizya payments—which took up 16 percent of the entire federal budget—began to be made to Algeria in 1795. In return, some 115 American sailors were released, and the Islamic sea raids formally ceased. American payments and “gifts” over the following years caused the increasingly emboldened pirates to respond with increasingly capricious demands.” (emphasis added).

This is a church in Otranto, Italy.
These are real skulls belonging to Christians who were beheaded by muslim invaders for refusing to convert.
The entire city was massacred and enslaved in 1480 by the Ottomans, an atrocity so barbaric that this church put its martyrs on display to never allow the West to forget.
Sadly, in the year 2026 it's happening again, and everyone has forgotten.
History repeats itself.
Perhaps, just perhaps, Russia invaded Ukraine to capture/destroy these biolabs.
Why was Fauci pardoned “for any offenses against the United States which he may have committed or taken part in”, beginning January 1, 2014?
That’s precisely when Fauci and the Obama administration offshored US gain of function research, to black sites like Ukraine.
Hunter was pardoned beginning the exact same day, January 1, 2014, just before Metabiota received a massive DoD contract for operations in Ukraine. Hunter Biden was the bagman, or proxy, for Obama/Biden’s corrupt dealings in Ukraine, to include their nefarious biological activity at Metabiota.
All of this made possible right after the Maidan coup, regime change in Ukraine in early 2014, and the beginning of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and the annexation of Crimea.
Fauci and the Biden Administration admitted their guilt when they issued these pardons. They know they’ve been caught, and they tried to cover their tracks.
Whatever they were doing in Ukraine, it’s what they fear most, and all signs seem to point to Metabiota.

🚨 Declassified Report Maps out the Extensive Secret U.S. Network Behind Ukrainian Biolabs and Dangerous Gain of Function and Pathogen Research 🦠
This document shows many U.S. government agencies, universities, and companies linked to Ukrainian scientific institutions conducting dangerous “research” on the world’s most dangerous pathogens. 🦠
A table lists multiple research projects (called TAPs) on viruses such as highly pathogenic avian influenza (bird flu), African swine fever, and others. Many of these projects were completed or are ongoing.
The U.S. funded Ukrainian scientists to study the genomes of highly dangerous viruses inside biocontainment labs that were also paid for by the U.S. government.
🔻 U.S. Government Agencies & Contractors
Black & Veatch (major contractor, appears multiple times)
CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
USDA (United States Department of Agriculture)
Metabiota
🔻 U.S. Universities & Research Institutions
University of Florida
University of Tennessee
Kansas State University (K-State)
University of New Mexico
University of Alaska Anchorage
JGI (Joint Genome Institute)
🔻Other Partners:
Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ
Orion
SATOSO
OIC
🔻Ukrainian Entities:
Various Ukrainian research institutes, veterinary labs, and universities
*Note: There are others as this is described as a small sampling.
Is this what they had planned for us? 😳
🚨 Newly Declassified: America Built and Funded Over 40 Labs in Ukraine That Stored Dangerous Soviet-Era Pathogens in Complete Secret
It states that the U.S. built and supported more than 40 laboratories across Ukraine and They held especially dangerous pathogens such as anthrax, Ebola, Marburg, plague, Lassa, MERS, SARS, tularemia, tuberculosis, and others.
U.S. scientists trained Ukrainian staff to work with these high-risk pathogens.
— WOW! 🤯
Many labs operated at high biosafety levels (BSL-3 and BSL-4), which are used for the most dangerous diseases.
A map in the document shows lab locations across Ukraine (including Kharkiv, Odessa, and others).
The report gives specific examples of U.S.-funded labs with exact costs — some costing over $3 million each — and names the main U.S. contractor (Black & Veatch) along with Ukrainian partners.
Several labs received official permits to work with “Especially Dangerous Pathogens.”
This document confirms the U.S. directly built and paid for dozens of labs in Ukraine, storing some of the world’s most dangerous pathogens with millions of taxpayer dollars IN COMPLETE SECRECY.
Heads need to roll!

Thank you for posting. Your comments prompted a long response. I do not disagree with many of your statements. But we have to remember, we don’t know what we don’t know. And please don’t make the assumption that physicians are any different.
My doctor put me on a statin after my heart attack at 52.
I trusted him. I took the pill. I never asked a question.
Then I found this study. 60 clinical trials. 323,950 people. Every cholesterol lowering drug ever made. Statins. PCSK9 inhibitors. Ezetimibe.
They measured how much each drug lowered LDL cholesterol. Then they measured whether people lived or died.
The line is flat.
It did not matter if they lowered LDL by 10% or by 70%. The death rate did not change. In some trials people died more.
323,950 people. Near zero benefit. Published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology. 2023.
Nobody showed me this chart. Not my cardiologist. Not my pharmacist. Not the drug rep who visited my doctors office every month.
I had to find it myself. After the heart attack.

What I know (and remember, we used to “know” the sun revolved around the earth). These are my opinions and not medical advice. People should discuss these issues with their personal physician.
30-50% of people who come to hospital with a heart attack have normal cholesterol levels. It’s not the number, it’s the biology. What is it about the endothelium (inner lining of the blood vessel) that allows circulating lipid particles to “stick” to the endothelial cells and then become deposited in the middle layer as plaque?
Statins lower LDL even in patients with ‘normal’ LDL levels.
Statins lower the Relative Risk of a second MACE by roughly 30% (secondary prevention) and are more effective at higher doses in the first few months after the first event.
Statins have a weaker effect on primary prevention (lowering the risk of the first heart attack or stroke) and are more effective for people who have higher risk (family history, HTN, diabetes, smoking, obesity).
People who have risk factors do not always have cholesterol deposits (plaque). Just like people who smoke do not always get cancer. There is a predisposition. I believe it is genetic. And complicated.
People who have risk factors but a very low coronary calcium score, in my opinion, do not need to be given high intensity statin as the first step. If anything, a baby aspirin a day is more protective against heart attack and stroke. Repeat calcium scoring may be appropriate based on other risk factors.
If you’re worried about your cholesterol level, ask for a coronary calcium score before you agree to medications, particularly if you’re otherwise healthy with no risk factors.
9/9
Finally, there is still a lot that we do not understand about human biology. It has been an amazing time to be a cardiologist and physician. We could have only dreamed about some of the things we use commonly today that make peoples lives better and relieve their suffering. First, do no harm.
And remember, all medicines are poisons. We use them carefully and only when we have to. And if your doctor can’t discuss why they are recommending a specific treatment/medicine/whatever, find another doctor.
God Bless.
