What is happening:
- Someone nuked SOL on-chain. Probably market sold a bunch of it into pools.
- SOL down to $200 on-chain.
- A bunch of arb bots started bombarding Jup + DEX, since CEXs were still at $250.
- This caused a spike in priority fees for DEXs as everyone tries to scoop up SOL at a discount.
- All other txs (sending tokens, buying NFTs) worked fine with low fees.

For all the people who were here when Solana went from $250 all the way down to $9 and are still around today hustling, this is one is for you.
We made it. I remember trying to raise back when Solana was $12 and being told that there’s no interest in investing into the Solana ecosystem and I’d be better off moving to other chains.
It takes a lot of mental strength to stick around through the tough times and filter through all the noise.
I hope you’re all reaping the benefits today.
