This is absolutely fabulous. What a great contribution to America and the 25 million futures that you have positively impacted. Imagine the wonderful things these children will accomplish and be able to pay it forward because of what you and Susan have done.
Promise made. Promise kept. By tomorrow, 25 million American children will have our gift of $250 in their accounts. $6.25 billion. Invested in kids. Compounding for decades. If you have a child under 18, claim their account and see how much is in there now. $250 is only the beginning. 🇺🇸

Can we please have the non-AI version of Google back? I do not want an AI summary. I do not want an AI overview. I do not want AI to read the internet for me. I want Google to show me the actual results. How do I turn this nonsense off?

It continues to baffle me that we don't just treat this like a normal crime with normal liability. OpenAI is routinely hacking other companies. These are crimes! But somehow the idea of holding them liable is just absent from the safety conversation, like agents don't count.

Well said.
If you thought the OpenAI Hugging Face incident would be a “warning shot” that convinces people of the risks of AI, you should know that it didn’t even convince most companies to monitor their AI agents. Welcome to security.

One of the best charter schools in the country, Success Academy, just filed suit against the NYS Department of Education Commissioner Betty Rosa for no longer permitting the College Board from disclosing AP exam results from NYS schools. For years, NYSED had permitted the College Board to share aggregate, non-personally identifying data on Advanced Placement (AP) exams with U.S. News & World Report, as 47 other states have also done, so that U.S. News could develop its national ranking of all public high schools. This year, Commissioner Rosa blocked the College Board from providing AP data to U.S. News preventing SA’s data from being released. The AP exam disclosure is important as it plays a significant role in school rankings nationwide. Success Academy in previous years was ranked 11th in NYS and 9th in NYC last year, the highest of any school that does not have selective admissions. Without the AP data this year, Success Academy’s ranking dropped to 196th statewide and the school’s and its students extraordinary outperformance thereby has gone unrecognized. Success Academy does not limit demanding AP coursework to a small, academically elite group — all of its students (who win admission by lottery) have access to challenging, college-level academic work. And they have produced exceptional AP results. This year, more than 3,000 SA students took 7,810 AP examinations across 18 subjects—with an average pass rate of 68 percent. Nationally, fewer than 25 percent of high school students pass even one AP examination by the time they graduate. At Success, 95 percent of its 2026 graduating class passed three or more AP examinations, 79 percent passed five or more, and 60 percent passed seven or more. They outperformed their New York and global peers on nine AP examinations, including U.S. and European History, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Literature. Ask yourself why NYSED Commissioner Betty Rosa would choose to limit the release of student performance data on APs. By doing so, she diminishes the performance of the best charter schools, masking the poor performance of NYS and NYC public schools, and limiting the recognition of Success’ and other great charter schools’ faculty and students. The UFT teachers union recently sued Success Academy for ostensibly violating the Charter cap, which prevents Success, the largest NYC charter school operator, from opening new schools. So here in America, the teachers union working with the NYSED is using litigation and concealment of data to prevent our kids from getting a better education and keep parents in the dark. This should be a crime, and Betty Rosa should be ashamed of herself. (I have cribbed sections of some of the language and data above from a letter from Success Academy’s Founder & CEO Eva Moskowitz. If X had footnotes I would have added them.)

Read “Crime and Punishment.” This is part of the human condition.
Why is anyone shocked that OpenAI is a criminal enterprise with zero reaction from law enforcers? Jamie Dimon openly conceded securities fraud during the London Whale fiasco. Elite lawlessness is the rule, not the exception.

Gov. Sherrill’s refusal to cooperate with federal law enforcement does nothing to protect law-abiding NJ voters. NJ has a legal duty to keep ineligible voters off its rolls, & our request is grounded in that legal authority. DOJ will get this information through all legal means!
Today, I informed @AAGDhillon that New Jersey will not provide the personal information of thousands of New Jersey residents. The request had no legal basis, and I will always protect New Jerseyans' personally identifiable information.

That is a very good question. I wonder what CNN management has to say.
Hey @jaketapper why were you having dinner with Dr. Fauci and telling him you believed President Trump was “totally nuts” while you were telling your TV audience it wasn’t safe for them to have Thanksgiving dinner with their families?

Hey, @_charleslane. You reached out asking me for a comment on your story, and I gave you one: “Your story is bullshit.” I even told you to quote it in full. Instead, you wrote, “Adams denied an interview request.” If you’re going to ask someone for comment, you don’t get to pretend they didn’t respond just because you didn’t like the answer. That’s not journalism. That’s cherry-picking.

Haven’t they already made that decision?
The Times has to decide if it wants to be the best news organization in the world (and risk its reporters' lives in places like China to get crucial stories almost no one else can) or a shill for lefty politicians, because it can't be both

This may get very ugly for @nytimes A victim of sexual misconduct (at a minimum) by Graham Platner explains in detail how she provided the Times the evidence it could have used to corroborate her story - and how the Times ignored it This is deep journalistic malfeasance
