I'm sorry to tell you Western devs
To succeed on Steam, you will have to be friends (or at least not make enemies) with the chuds, even if you hate them
Games succeed on Steam if they're not hated by that community
There is too much data now to deny what's obvious
Instead of fighting it, rejoice in the fact that I'm handing you the solution to all your problems on a silver platter

From one creative director at @remedygames to the other, congratulations @MikaelKasurinen for dreaming up a singular vision for Control Resonant @ControlRemedy and seeing it through 7 years of hard work with the team to have it come out to rave reviews. An AWEsome achievement.

Every dev needs to watch this episode on Control Resonant about how to make a game that actually trusts the player.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s open-world, semi-open-world, or linear—good level design should give players the freedom to observe, explore, and figure things out for themselves.
Putting yellow paint everywhere is lazy.

Today is my last day with SIE/Bungie as I was impacted by the layoffs today. This was a dream job in so many ways given how much of an impact Destiny 2 has had on my life. Very grateful for these past 4 years. 💛
