Square is creating a new business (joining Seller, Cash App, & Tidal) focused on building an open developer platform with the sole goal of making it easy to create non-custodial, permissionless, and decentralized financial services. Our primary focus is #Bitcoin. Its name is TBD.

How do you know if you're still early in #Bitcoin? The U.S. national debt has skyrocketed to over $28 trillion. Bitcoin's market cap is only $680 billion.

Looks like the real deal: -Bitcoin becomes "unrestricted legal tender" -Prices may be expressed in BTC -Taxes may be paid in BTC -BTC must be accepted as payment "when offered by whoever acquires a good or service" -The state will promote training for population to use BTC

First they said we wouldn’t get inflation. Then they claimed it would be “transitory”. Then they’ll say a moderate level is necessary to solve inequality. But they will never, ever admit that they’re not in control

I wrote a 9500 word article with two dozen charts on inflation/deflation. My projects always seem to expand more than originally intended. Enjoy: lynalden.com/inflation/

If you were in gold for 10 years, your CAGR was <2%. If you were in S&P 500 for 10 years, you got 12% CAGR. If you were in Bitcoin, CAGR is 160%+ @case4bitcoin casebitcoin.com/

To understand what big money is doing in BTC, generally watch the 8am-10am timeframe (NYC time). This is when desks with large orders (buy or sell) will want to get something on the tape. Rest of order (if any) can be worked during the day. Today is a good example. See 8am.

#Bitcoin reduces greenhouse gas emissions that would have otherwise been burned into the atmosphere, and even manages to convert it to extra profit. Would be a shame if this video went viral...

During State Street's conf call on Friday, there was extensive discussion of BTC/crypto. "We’ve got a number of initiatives in place." "We would view this as a trend that’s here to stay." "It’s a very, very important part of our R&D." Transcript: seekingalpha.com/article/441…

U.S. government spending & monetary expansion in a hot economy: unprecedented. Producer prices rose more than expected in March & investors are looking for other inflation clues. The consumer-price index will likely be up for March but against the pandemic’s start a year ago.

Global government debt is large (and rising). Bitcoin is small by comparison (with dwindling new supply).
