Alabama 38-7 at the half. If you were not watching the game, you do not understand what a struggle it has been to get there.

The worst decision in my life as a born and raised Nashvillian? Shutting down Opryland to open a shopping mall they could have built anywhere. Opryland would be even more popular today than it was when I was a kid. Huge whiff by the city. Loved it. Miss it.
From an interview I did in 2008 with an LSU fan about Nick Saban. @jimdunaway @NextRoundLive
What was going on with that National Anthem at Ohio State-Michigan? Was like the crowd just ran off and left the band.
Maybe it was just me, but I had to manually go in and unhide all the ESPN channels from my live grid on YouTube TV after they were restored.
This is Alabama’s coach. I don’t know this Kalen person you mention. Honestly, it sounds made up. @jimdunaway
I guess it’s a good thing that these playoff games have been snoozers so far. I’ve been too busy finishing up Christmas stuff to watch them anyway. And I’d rather watch Christmas vacation for the 75th time anyway. @RyanBrownLive
I really thought if nothing else, the brand would get Bama in and the desire for ratings. So I don’t really know what the committee’s motivation was. They clearly didn’t make the best financial decision, but they also didn’t go the “let’s get the best teams route.”
Under Saban, if Bama wasn’t playing well in the first half, you had some level of confidence that adjustments would be made at the half. This coaching staff seems unable or unwilling to do anything other than tell them to just keep doing what they are doing.
The state of TV journalism: a news anchor said some polls in Alabama will open as early as 7am tomorrow. They all open at 7am!! 🤦🏻♂️
This Bama coaching seems like when you had a substitute teacher. You were given busy work, you weren’t going to learn anything and there was always the real possibility the students could take over the classroom and tie up the hapless sub.
College football has so many commercial breaks now, I wish PBS could get a football package. The SEC on PBS. No commercials, no mercy.
There are 342 million people in the US. What were the other 330 million of you doing if you weren’t watching this game?

Let’s don’t even try to pretend like the fact we won’t hear this at 2:30 today during an SEC game isn’t a big deal, because it is. This was the SEC theme as much as the CBS theme. @jimdunaway
