Measles outbreaks are heartbreaking & preventable. Of all the outbreaks I have responded to with @ukmed & @ukemt measles is the worst I can remember. 1 case -> hundreds of critically unwell children in days. Urgently please vaccinate your children. #MeaslesIsPreventable

🏥 5,000 children were vaccinated against #polio at UK-Med field hospitals as part of WHO’s vaccination drive in #Gaza.
Both facilities were hubs for children to receive the vaccine, helping attain the 90% coverage needed to prevent polio's resurgence.
