This week there have been some deeply disturbing revelations about an article published in Qualitative Research. The article illustrates the need for our disciplines to prioritize teaching and learning about ethics, care, and respectful research relationships. (1)
We hope that more researchers, teachers of new scholars, and practitioners will think about the decisions they are making in relation to children and youth when they are designing studies to ensure their protection and care. (5)
