Happy 30th Birthday, @tcm! You have enriched my life and the lives of people I love. Because of you, I have learned so much about classic movies. I have also developed a better appreciation for these movies and the people involved with them .Thank you, TCM, and bless you.

When I first heard about YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING, I thought it could have possibly worked better as a multi-episode series rather than a 3-hour feature. It is so well shot, edited, and scored, it functions as an unsettling thriller to be seen in a theater. If you haven’t muted the film’s title and are seeing this post, you might already know too much about it, but it should be reiterated that the less you know before watching the better. While the film is a unique and overwhelming experience and deserves the praise it has been getting, it also is a reminder that people need to watch more documentaries. If anyone is looking for recommendations, here is an all-time favorite and two from the past decade:
Grey Gardens - HBO Max
Minding the Gap - Hulu
Honeyland - Tubi

The crowd is filing into the Walt Disney Theatre for special effects artist Dennis Muren and one of the greatest movies ever made (and that is NOT hyperbole), THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980).

Friends, I've entered a pinup photography contest. East Coast Vintage Vixens are looking for their Ms. Halloween. I couldn't resist submitting this photo! Will you vote for me by liking this photo on Instagram? #SpookySeason #Pinup #VintageStyle

ALT The photo shows a red-lipped, smiling Beth Ann Gallagher in a vintage style pinup photo with a Halloween theme. She's wearing a red sequined, sleeveless, hooded gown. The hood is up, and some of her copper hued, wavy locks frame her face as they peek out from underneath the hood. In her right hand she holds a "bloody" knife pointing downward. She's resting her left hand on a Jack O'Lantern, which is glowing from inside. Some nearly bare, dark branches decorate the left, upper corner of the background.

#WildHorseNine: John Malkovich delivers all the goods in Martin McDonagh’s humorously acidic period piece. A genuine standout. Watch it for him; everything else is a bonus. For me, not quite on the same level as In Bruges, nor Banshees of Inisherin, but still good.

You Can See Everything...wowza. More complex and layered than you can imagine, endlessly fascinating, full of some of the most insane scenes and line deliveries & we're only scratching the surface. One of the top movies of the year for me. New video out!

Just walked into my You Can See Everything showing and it is SO COOL to see a nearly packed theater for a documentary! Something you don’t see every day and we LOVE to see it. Time to take the plunge into the madness I’m so excited!!!

Enjoyed Being Heumann but my favorite part was Dylan O’Brien portraying a reporter with a conscience who cared more about the story than his ego. We love a positive portrayal of the news media!! 💖

LOVE OF YOUR LIFE / #LoveOfYourLife is a tender grief drama dressed up as a romance & Margaret Qualley carries it, lifting it well above what it would be without her. It opens like a rom-com & refuses to become one. Seeing the pandemic through a nurse’s eyes gives the story real weight. The conversations feel honest, Catherine Keener is devastating with very little screen time & I especially loved that it’s about relearning to love life rather than replacing one love with another. It’s still formulaic underneath & a tad too polished, but I still liked it more than enough.

this negativity on Twitter is BAFFLING because the energy in the room during the Surprise Film was genuinely electric, and the 10+ people I spoke to after the screening all loved I Play Rocky.
don’t be put off - go see it #LFF 🎬
