The army moved in, rifles raised as they captured Carter Hall as Captain Atom flew away.
"Enough!" The captain shoved the mace away and raised an arm. There was a hum that could level a building before he emitted a blast of quantum-based energy directly at the Hawkman.
Lowering to the ground, Atom looked about. Where had he gone... He was here just a moment ago...
