This is where you’ll interact with maintainers and other contributors and get unblocked quickly. 4️⃣ Pick an issue & start contributing Go through the open issues, find the ones that match your skill set and interests, and start working on them. There’s no pressure just steady learning and shipping. 5️⃣ Share your PR on Slack Once you’ve raised a pull request, drop it on Slack. Though this doesn’t sound like a scam at first, that's the scammiest part. I received a message offering up to $10,000 for access to private GitHub repos with 100+ merged PRs, supposedly to use repository metadata and development patterns for AI training. Thier main intention is to get years of engineering work, product architecture, PR history, and development patterns in so called "ai training" And then there’s the strange requirement of 100+ PRs and multiple contributors they’re specifically looking for mature, active private codebases. A one-time payment in exchange for data and I think a lot of people might fall for it so if you are building a startup keep those repos access secured to a trusted few. I’m looking into this further and may name the company publicly if I can verify what’s actually happening.

Our team went to Goa to build our startup and it brought us 30% of our new users already. Recently, our complete team took a stroll through Goa exploring the bars, clubs, and even finding some good morning spots that could become a part of the planner at @wayzyycom , our hosting platform targeting the hosts who are part of the complete Goa journey. The interesting part? Our early users are already the people who are traveling here and thanks to our marketing folks in club lanes people already know about us. And the biggest way we’ve been finding our audience is simply by getting connected from one host to the other. Good word of mouth is already prevailing in the space. As we completed South Goa, we’ve now started diving into North Goa. And if you’re someone who loves sunsets, sitting around, having a chat, and finding a good breathing space away from the normal 9–5, you’ll probably love Goa. So whenever you plan your next vacation, or whenever your family is asking for the next weekend getaway or a week-long escape, do keep Goa on the timeline. We have it covered with better rates and better people. The target audience might not always lie on calls or onboarding calls. Sometimes, it’s already out there part of the population that keeps traveling, exploring, and living in the places you’re building for. Sometimes, you just need to hang around and have a chat.
