Lots of ‘pressing’ practices have 2/3 players chase the ball in a small area against 5/6 stationary opponents who have to get a number of passes then switch play to another box for players to chase again - this replicates very little of the coordinated skills of ‘pressing’ 🧵

#RevsRoadshow @revs2 @FormbyHC @PDScoach Took an impromptu junior session on Wed night looking at playing 2v1 out of shadow, with rule of 3. Great ownership of task, but much more important the junior players talked (live) about how to put the pass in shadow, problem solving 👏
