Hello! I have some professional news. Yesterday was my last day at Etsy. That’s still a little weird to me, but I am _pumped_ to have a couple weeks to chill. Relatedly, I am accepting movie, donut, and restaurant recommendations (in Denver, preferably).

After a short break, I’ll be joining Fastly at the end of the month as a staff engineer. I am positively CHUFFED to be given this opportunity. Also, I’ll get to work alongside a small, but powerful, contingent of Six Apart alumni. What a killer group of humans, amirite?

Eventually, I want to share more about my decision to move on, but for now I’ll say that I grew a lot as an engineer and person during my time at Etsy. There are so many fantastic people who made the days fun and helped me navigate a large engineering org for the first time.

As I just reported on FOX, multiple teams have contacted Kliff Kingsbury for their vacant OC job. He bought a one way ticket to Thailand and has told teams (respectfully) that he’s not interested at the moment. @NFLonFOX
