The branding and marketing behind this is super foreign so I dug into how this was named.
In America, we have WeChat and anyone who has Chinese family or interacted with the Chinese diaspora knows the brand.
However, Tencent is strictly only a Chinese brand. As an American in the west, I have only heard of Tencent through WSJ finance articles.
TenPay is the payments arm of Tencent, and Go refers to the travel aspect.
In keeping up with their brand loyalty of TenPay, I would strongly suggest “TenPay Go” as the brand name for their payments.
It’s much cleaner and resonates with our western audience.
We’re live. Meet TenPayGo 👋
Coming to China for travel?
TenPayGo is a payment app built by Weixin Pay for overseas visitors to China. Pay wherever Weixin Pay is accepted, using Apple Pay, international cards and supported e-wallets.

And there’s more — from translation to metro and bus travel, TenPayGo is built to make everyday life in China easier.
Easy Pay with TenPayGo.

5 of the most interesting graphs of the Knowledge Atlas Technology Joint Stock Company/ Zhipu/ Z.ai PHIP equivalent to the Hong Kong SEC S-1 filing
For context:
Minimax and Knowledge Atlas Technology/Zhipu/z.ai, will both go public this week on the HK exchange on January 9 and January 8 respectively
from @theinformation, in the first half of this year, Zhipu had a net loss of $334 million on $27 million in revenue.

This is a cool idea in practice and even if the web app designed had Apple level hierarchy, visuals, spacing, fluid interactions, I suspect it wouldn’t get much adoption
The design principle of Preference over Performance is a feature not a bug of humanity
Remember the DVORAK keyboard?
No because QWERTY is engrained human behavior
However more optimal the DVORAK keyboard was for typing the English alphabet, we’ve been trained nudged into q w e r t y
Now if it cloned another interface 1:1….
Graph based interfaces!!
adding another one to the list of beautiful graphs for discovery
For interpreting and modeling emergent phenomena of our world, like facebook’s friend graph, route planning and navigation, knowledge graphs like notion, fraud detection like @withpersona and recommendation engines, these interfaces surface beautiful insights that can be dissected and alpha drawn
However, my current thesis is that for consumer based interactions, graph based interfaces are too cumbersome to use
Think about zooming, panning, rotating on mobile. I’ve built prototypes and interacted with this pattern on mobile and it is clunky.
We need abstractions and approximations to simplify the dimensionality to make it easier for consumer
Think
1. Removing axes from 3d to 2d to 1d
2. Creating a default story to allow users to scroll (1d). Nytimes and WSJ data viz journalism do this
3. Remove mobile and just do this with interactions on the desktop viewport
Examples to see the best in graph interactions
1. Neo4j aura’s graph interface
2. Persona identity’s b2b fraud analysis
3. Uber’s graph.gl open source react library
4. Crypto’s Arkham analysis for wallet tracking
What other graph visualizations come to mind?
I’ll share a small part of pickle.com
Back in med school, I became obsessed with augmenting memory and dreamed of a Notion or Obsidian that completes itself. Today, we’ve built something close.
My self-awareness is sharper and everything feels connected. I genuinely believe AI does not replace humans. It amplifies us.
Huge respect to our engineers and designers who made this crazy thing real.
Bubbles are the episodic units of my life that the system interprets from my raw data. Clouds are the system’s questions, its hypotheses about who I am.
When I answer a cloud, it becomes a bubble again.
There is so much personal data that I cannot fully demo it. Wish I could. This system understands me more deeply than anyone.
Want to try it? Retweet and comment “memory.”
I’ll DM you an access code to skip the waitlist.

Is it currently possible to use a fuse wallet as a member in squads and sign transactions?
how am i supposed to connect my fuse wallet here
. @ENowoslawski compare this with @clay_gtm?
instead of integrations (crunchbase, pitchbook, la growth), everything is in house scraped
fundamentally the same paradigm though, use AI through the spreadsheet interface instead of chat or code

Know the secret to finding the most cracked designers and design engineers in the world?
There was this little part of the internet called read.cv. Built by @_andychung and @mehdimulani, former designers and engineers at facebook, it was a digital garden for the world of designers, people there would share their work, tinkerings, learnings, and craft. However
