Everyone blames the wrong kind of salt (common, natural salt) for kidney damage.
Common salt is the least of your problems.
The real list:
1. REFINED salt
2. DICLOFENAC is one of the most kidney-toxic OTC drugs on the market
3. Long-term PPI use (OMEPRAZOLE) which is linked to chronic kidney disease
4. Contrast dye from CT scans = acute kidney injury risk, rarely disclosed
5. CADMIUM from cigarette smoke
6. Fluoride and phosphate additives in soda
Iyere (uziza) and hibiscus have documented diuretic and renal-protective properties in the ethnobotanical record; while pharmacies sell you the poison first, then the dialysis later.
Uber lovers and before @atiku will say something: educate yourself.
1: Uber says it is leaving Nigeria after 12 years.
2: But wait… the same Uber is buying Delivery Hero, the parent company of Glovo, for $14.8 billion—and Glovo operates in Nigeria.
3: So Uber is “leaving Nigeria” by the front door while potentially buying its way back in through the kitchen.
4: Naija no be easy market to leave!

Can I pray for your Saturday ? 🙏🏽 ❤️
Dear God,
Thank you for the gift of this Saturday and for the simple blessing of being here to see another morning. Thank you for carrying us through another week, for the moments that made us smile, the challenges that taught us and the quiet ways you protected and provided for us. Before we ask You for anything, help us pause and simply say, “Thank You.”
Forgive us for overlooking yesterday’s blessings while worrying about tomorrow. Teach us to enjoy today and trust you with everything we cannot control.
Lord, restore what life has drained from us. Give rest to tired minds, strength to weary bodies and hope to hearts that have been waiting for a change. Breathe fresh life into our plans and dreams and give us the wisdom to know which ones are worth pursuing. Bless our work, businesses, families and every honest effort we make. Send opportunities that bring growth, people who bring encouragement and ideas that turn possibilities into something real. Let nothing we do in faith be wasted.
Father, let this Saturday be gentle on every heart. Bring laughter back to homes that have been quiet, peace to minds that have been troubled and comfort to anyone facing a difficult season. Remind the person who feels behind that their story is not over and the person who feels forgotten that you see them completely.
May today give us space to breathe, reasons to smile and courage to believe again. Let us finish this Saturday with lighter hearts, deeper gratitude and the quiet confidence that better days are still ahead.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen 🙏🏽❤️
Good morning, I have tried severally to apply but each it fails. Please how do go about it? Do I need to be physically present?

NNS ARADU carried out a rescue mission in the North Sea while it was being delivered brand new to Nigeria under the command of Commander O.P Fingesi:
In 1981, while navigating rough waters in the North Sea during the maiden voyage of the flagship Nigerian Navy Ship ARADU, Commander (later Rear Admiral) O.P. Fingesi executed a flawless, award-winning Man Overboard (MOB) rescue.
The recovery happened as follows:The Incident:
An individual fell into the perilous and freezing waters, demanding immediate intervention.
The Maneuver: Rather than attempting a time-consuming turn in the rough conditions, Fingesi expertly commanded his warship (The NNS ARADU) to execute the Williamson Turn, a complex maritime maneuver used in emergencies to place a vessel back on its original track to recover a person in the water.
The Record: Relying on his precise command over the massive Meko 360 frigate, the flawless execution and speed of the rescue cemented his legacy, ultimately earning him recognition as one of the fastest MOB recoveries in naval history.
If you remember Festac 77, then you will remember Commander O.P Fingesi:
He was before now, the Honourable Commander O.P. Fingesi, Nigeria's Federal Commissioner for Special Duties and Festival 77 President.

@OPay_NG @OPayNigeria @fccpcnigeria Okay has refused to acknowledge my issue. I tried purchasing tokens worth 25k from PHED yesterday. The transaction was a success and tokens were given but those figures were invalid. I had tried appealing to @OPayNigeria to no avail.
I sought help from @PHEDconnect but was informed that the funds, though debited from @OPayNigeria didn't get to the @PHEDconnect account.
Please how do I get this sorted out?

Politician in the Day, Bandit at night!
His name is Nuru Aliyu Garwa, a former Senior Special Adviser on Community Development to the Katsina State Governor.
He recently resigned in order to contest in the House of Assembly to represent his people.
On May 13th, an eight year old boy was abducted while coming home from a Quranic School, his family were contacted and a ransom of 50 million was requested by the bandits or kidnappers.
The price was negotiated and brought down to 17 Million which was paid. After this, the family reached out to a security outfit known as Violent Crime Response Unit in Katsina State.
The Unit swung into action and started their investigation. The investigation led to the arrest of 6 of the bandits on the 23rd of May.
This arrest of the six led to the arrest of the other member and boss, Nuru Aliyu Garwa, the former SSA on Community Development to the Governor on the 24th of May.
In his house they found 7.5 million in a Ghana must go bag which the Security Unit believed is his own share of the ransom, they also found the bike used in operations and some other items.
However, investigations still ongoing.

WHAT TO THINK ABOUT
Its a Monday again. What are you thinking about already? Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

When the judiciary sacked the Chairman of APC the ruling party, pls, whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive?
When the Judiciary sacked the entire victory of APC in Zamfara and handed the entire positions including Governorship, Deputy Governorship and House of Reps to PDP even though APC was the ruling party at the Federal, whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive?
When the Judiciary sacked APC from participating in River State election and Wike of PDP ran his 2nd term without APC fielding any candidate, whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive?
APC Governorship candidate won in Bayelsa, a night before handing over, APC candidate who won was sacked and stopped and the position given to Gov Diri of PDP that came second. whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive?
IF the pronouncement of the court goes against ADC in the coming days, there is nothing NEW or SPECIAL about that.... APC as the ruling party has lost cases in court, if opposition loses case in court, democracy will still be here irrespective of your EMOTION.

As I step into this new year of life, I pause to thank God for the precious gift of another year on earth. I am deeply grateful for His mercy that has sustained me, His favor that has gone before me, and His grace that has carried me through every season.
*Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.' — Lamentations 3:22–23*
Today, I celebrate not just the passing of time, but the faithfulness of a God who has made all things new. I invite you to rejoice with me as I mark this special milestone.
Happy Birthday to Me.

POTUS is laying out two courses of action—a negotiated settlement, or a major escalation.
There is a third option, and he should take it: recognize there is no way to force a positive outcome and simply leave.
The region is not ours to fix. President Reagan chose this path in Lebanon in ‘84, withdrawing U.S. forces after the Beirut barracks bombing once it became clear the mission’s stabilization goals could not be met, effectively ending direct American military involvement and avoiding a deeper quagmire and long-term entrenchment in the region.
A negotiated settlement is unlikely to work or be taken seriously by the Iranians unless we make concessions on the enrichment issue. As we saw yesterday in the SOH, the IRGC is empowered to act without the consent of the civilian leadership, so it’s likely they won’t honor any deal reached.
A major escalation will lead to a very destructive outcome for Iran, the region, and eventually the U.S. If POTUS chooses brute force and targets civilian infrastructure, we will create another generation of radicalized Iranians who will rally around the regime and escalate the war by any means possible.
If POTUS opts to strike the civilian infrastructure, declare victory, and then leave, we will only further erode our standing in the world, the petrodollar, and eventually our status as the world’s reserve currency holder. We need to get out now.
Don’t double down on failure. Avoid the sunken cost trap, leave now, and put America’s interests first.

Kindly ask your guest who the Secretary of INEC was when Mike Tyson voted in Nigeria.
Ask him who the Secretary of INEC was when late President Umar Yar'Adua 'disowned' the election that brought him to power.
Ask him who the Secretary of INEC was when the PDP Tsunami in the South West happened in 2003.
Can you ask these questions in the interest of transparency and accountability you all preached this morning?

Just a reminder: in 1982, when Great Britain was attacked by Argentina, starting the Falklands War, the United States did not come to their aid because the Falklands are not in the North Atlantic and the British did not bitch about it.
In 1956, when the French and British attacked Egypt, causing the Suez Crisis, despite the fact that France and Great Britain are in NATO, the United States not only refused to assist, but went to the United Nations to condemn them for attacking Egypt.
In 2019, when Turkey decided to attack Syria, the Trump administration had the Pentagon send out an official notice that they did not support the campaign and would not send troops.
So kindly shut the fuck up, everyone in the White House.
“NATO WASN’T THERE WHEN WE NEEDED THEM, AND THEY WON’T BE THERE IF WE NEED THEM AGAIN. REMEMBER GREENLAND, THAT BIG, POORLY RUN, PIECE OF ICE!!!” - President Donald J. Trump
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The NATO pacts core principle is collective defence enshrined in Article 5. The US and Israeli attacks on Iran were not defensive and therefore the NATO pact was not invoked. Article 5 has been invoked only once, following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the U.S
