WTF?????? The IRS Payment system is down on October 15?@taxgirl
I wonder what Congress could have accomplished ( if anything) if they didn’t spend so much time and energy this year on college sports?
I was thinking about going to sleep early because I'm exhausted but decided to finalize a few returns that I got the last info for today. The texts with authentication codes for Axcess Tax and Firm 360 haven't come through , so I guess the universe decided I need the sleep
After days of trying to get through to the IRS for an EIN (foreign entity), and an hour on hold before someone picked up, I thought we were good. The person even asked for a phone number in case we got disconnected. But... we got disconnected and I did not get a callback
I'm asking co-pilot to help plan shore excursions for a cruise in november and it actually told me as the wife of a CPA, I know the correct answer is:"it depends." 📷
I wonder what the record is for the largest number of players to score touchdowns in a single college football game? We’re at 9 and the 3rd qtr isn’t over yet

I recently saw a stat that said 48% of people ages 21–43 prefer social media as their source for financial content.
That got me thinking... People are getting a lot of [financial / tax / legal ] advice from social media.
That can be great, but that can be problematic.

Enjoying a Dolphins game ( and I use that word very loosely) while we are still tied for the lead in our Division
And the IRS is once again creating more stress for taxpayers and practitioners by sending out letters saying that they haven't received a 2025 income tax return when there is an accepted extension request.
I know what the winning answer should have been, but no one had it. IYKYK @CPAJeff @ajthecpa1226 @taxlady04 @adammarkowitzEA

If you miss an old friend, text them. Don’t dwell in the shame about how you’ve been a “bad friend.”
Check in, and make plans.
Life is busy. Our schedules are packed. People appreciate being pursued.
And to round out the week, I got a flat tire in I-95 within five miles of home. I got onto the side of an exit ramp, and someone had offered to put on the spare…for $200. I think not!
I’m complaining about everything this week. Today it’s walking into a restaurant at 1 pm with only one table taken and being told I can’t sit at a 4 top
