The amount of calendar SPAM is crazy ATM. Feels like agents are being deployed and paid on a “per meeting” basis. So just spam as many as you can to get paid. 🤷♂️
A simple agent every SMB platform like @owner, @heyfresha, @Vagaro, @mindbody @Square et al, should offer:
Continuously check that every listed email address and contact form actually works 🤷♂️
It’s amazing how many local businesses quietly lose customers because nobody notices they’re broken. 😵💫
I run to stay fit, problem solve and decompress… on some runs now I start a @meetgranola, and just ramble off my thoughts as they come to me. Yes I look crazy… but it’s so good at capturing everything, when thoughts are most clear.
Was great chat mate! Glad it resonated and watch out for Bolt ⚡️, our AI native developer environment dropping next week 💪
A film festival 0.3 miles from a store. No one saw it coming.
Campbell Brown, CEO of @PredictHQ, shared this story about one of the largest retailers in America, and why predicting demand isn't just about inventory. It's about the entire human cost downstream.
One build on the intelligence layer. For it to be truly effective it also needs real-world context, an intelligence layer can only act on what it understands.
A merchant’s cash flow model can predict seasonal dips, but only if it understands that the stadium next door just announced its summer concert schedule, that a major convention is coming to town, or that a street closure is about to reroute foot traffic for the next two weeks. The real-world context that turns a smart solution into an accurate, trusted and explainable one.
Moving from 🇳🇿 to the 🇺🇸 was tough. So many hurdles, wasted time and stress 😵💫. A lot of this is now avoidable with AI. If I had to do it again today, this is the stack I’d build:
🤚 First step: create a clean shared folder with your partner and put everything in it. Assets, insurance, tax returns, medical records, school reports, legal docs, visas. The model is only as good as the context you give it.
Then layer AI on top of that.
💵 Cross-Border Tax Copilot ( @claudeai Co-work )
Tax across countries gets complex fast. Connect everything: tax returns, trusts, investments, cap table, shareholder agreements. Let the model reason over the full picture before you talk to your accountant.
🩺 Health Navigator ( @ChatGPTapp Project )
Switching from NZ to US health care was a shock. Navigating this is tough. Connect family history, MRIs, lab results, prescriptions, insurance policies and specialist notes. Use it to prepare for appointments and understand treatment options.
🎒 Kids Education Guide ( ChatGPT Project )
Especially important if your kids have dyslexia or learning differences. Store assessments, school reports, teacher feedback and plans. This history becomes incredibly valuable from elementary school through college.
😎 Founder Operating System ( Claude Co-work )
Founders who move countries can end up with equity, options and tax exposure spread across multiple systems. Old shares in one country. New options in another. Trusts, QSBS, shareholder agreements and financing terms layered on top. An AI that can reason across all of it helps you understand dilution, liquidity and tax before you make a very expensive mistake.
💳 Credit Score Captain ( Custom GPT )
Building credit quickly changes everything in the US: car leases, mortgages, premium cards. A simple AI playbook to help you navigate, make the right choices and track progress.
📄 Visa Coach ( Claude Co-work )
We nearly got kicked out of the US while I was raising our Series A and my wife was pregnant 😓 . Centralize visas, filings, lawyer emails and timelines. The value is proactive reminders and better questions for your lawyer.
🏡 Property Intelligence ( ChatGPT Project )
ChatGPT helped us identify a cross-border tax rule that saved us $92K on the sale of our NZ home. Selling and buying property when living in the US is complicated. Connect mortgage details, insurance, property taxes, maintenance history and improvements so the model can guide sale and financing decisions, upgrades and long-term value.
Getting this sorted helps you adapt much faster so you can focus on settling the fam and getting the business cranking! 🤩

@Expedia has partnered with @PredictHQ to bring contextual #data around global events to the online travel agency’s (OTA) #hotelpartners.
The #OTA began a pilot with the #data specialist last year before a full launch toward the end of 2025 and continues to assess the results.
The #PredictHQ data is integrated with #ExpediaPartnerCenter and aims to give #hotels access to insights, such as demand data, to boost #revenue strategies.

LLMs are the interface. Real-world context is the edge.
We’ve processed $6T+ in demand data, we know how events can completely shift an economy.
Below: @ChatGPTapp without context vs. with @PredictHQ via our MCP connection.
Moves from generic output to → quantified, explainable demand impact for @franklinbbq (one of my favs).
AI has to drive ROI.
One skill I’m using to sharpen preso's: using @ChatGPTapp voice to simulate real Q&A from a specific audience. It can help expose content gaps, weak logic, audience first-thinking etc
Upload your deck. Feed it context like earnings calls, customer profile, blog posts etc on the person or company you’re pitching. Then pressure-test your answers in a live Q&A.
It’s surprisingly natural and you can go deep on post discussion feedback e.g. SWOT analysis, ideas for improving, how many "ums" 🤣
29 #earthquakes (and counting) since 6.27am this morning. We’re in Danville next to San Ramon where they’re all kicking off. Have been for 2 months now. Must be some kind of record?
#jetlag sucks. After years of crossing the Pacific, I’ve dialed in a simple protocol that lets me hit the ground running (literally). Used it this week heading into our Global Kickoff 💪 Sharing it here to steal it or improve it.
✅ Eat dinner before flying, no food after 7pm
✅ Skip second “airline dinner”, fast for flight
✅ Board plane > compression socks on
✅ No alcohol on the flight; water only
✅ Sleep (easier without second meal impacting)
✅ Skip the onboard breakfast and coffee
✅ 1 hour before landing: 1L electrolytes
✅ On landing, if there’s daylight, sunglasses on
✅ At hotel: move & sweat > run/walk/weights
✅ Immune boost (e.g. Vive or Ester-C)
✅ Shower > off to work > coffee + breakfast
✅ That night: no alcohol, stay up until ~10pm
✅ Optional: melatonin first 2 nights
✅ First 3 mornings: repeat the immune boost
What am I missing? What could be refined?
Context isn’t just a productivity unlock for AI agents, it’s the foundation of trust and explainability. If a model can’t understand the real world it’s operating in, you can’t rely on its decisions.
Context is king for AI agents. There’s going to be a massive premium in the future on having up-to-date context for all your most important best practices, decisions, roadmap items, specs, marketing materials, and other critical knowledge across your company.
People get a lot of context “for free” in a company. They know where they work, they have people next to them they work with, they can remember the rough outline of the company’s most recent quarterly goals to know if something seems good or bad to work on.
AI agents, on the other hand, come in overly eager and ready to work on whatever you give them. At one moment they’re a lawyer for one company and an engineer for the next. This is why context remains absolutely critical for them to execute well on what you want.
The teams and companies that take this seriously will have huge leverage and be steps ahead of those that don’t.
7am (PT) rugby with @AllBlacks vs @Scotlandteam is rare but so good! 🤩
I joined @AlfieGWhattam on the Decoded pod. Packed a lot in, including:
- Seeing early on how applying data at scale drives massive impact
- Pattern recognition & learning from people just 1–2 stages ahead
- Turning data exhaust into unique AI and prediction capability
- How @PredictHQ gives AI models context for grounding in the real-world
- Holding a big vision while executing the simplest next step
- Fundraise with a clear story and warm intros; choose the right partner.
- Where AI 's biggest impact will be: healthcare, defense, & education
Always enjoy sharing what we’re building at PredictHQ and how it fits into the wider ecosystem. 💪

To put Toronto’s 125 event cancellations for 2025 (so far) in context 👉 @PredictHQ forecasts this is a $8.8M hit to local restaurants, hotels, and transport. Aerosmith cancelation alone was $1.15M in lost spending for local businesses.
My first @robotaxi experience was awesome! Smooth, smart, and fast. As these scale, they’ll need more real-world context around impactful events 😉
