Between 1pm and 2pm, we recorded 1,184 transactions per second, a #BlackFriday record. That's a 9% increase on 2018’s record. The fact that records are being broken suggests the appetite for Black Friday sales is not abating and demand for sales is continuing to rise. #payments

It's been a really busy #BlackFriday2018 at @BcardBusiness with our systems hitting 1,087 transactions per second at 1.14pm this afternoon. This is our all-time record and we still expect higher peaks in the days leading up to Christmas. #BarclaycardBlackFriday
