Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈⬛🩷
Today, let's continue to spread the word: the only bad luck following black cats, or any cat, is harmful superstition. All of us who are lucky enough to know and love a black cat have so many reasons to celebrate today!
But to truly protect cats of any coat color, we need to address the greatest threat they face: archaic policies rooted in misinformation that put their lives at risk. Today, we hope you'll join us to Share the Truth about cats and the policies that help, not harm: alleycat.org/ShareTheTruth

Black cats are amazing and, as Welsh folklore tells us, bring good luck to the home:
"A black cat, I’ve heard it said,
Can charm all ill away,
And keep the house wherein she dwells
From fever’s deadly sway"

🖤Foster/adopt a black cat to help counter the shelter bias they face!
🖤Keep them inside, especially at night!
🖤POST A PICTURE of your little panther in the comments to remind people how adorable & sweet they are!

Let's have a nice Thursday, folks.
+8℃ and starting to rain. It'll be cooler and windy later, apparently, but who can you believe these days?
The world has become unbelievable. I want to get a horse and go and live in the bush.
"I love nice fresh eel!"

These are my great-grandfather Dr. Sam Aykroyd’s transcripts from the Seances he hosted in the Old Farmhouse. It was the spirit of his work passed down through the generations that inspired my interests. He’s the original Ghostbuster.
