No one knows if we have 6 months or four years left of this bear market but anything is possible at this point. You should prepare for the worse but have multiple scenarios and actionable plans for whatever happens. Currently, my plan is to slowly accumulate for the long term.
Lessons for turbulent markets:
- focus on the large moves
- disregard market microstructure
- disregard funding rates
- disregard price sources with disabled deposits/withdrawals
- disregard spreads between exchanges
I have been a bit less active the last couple of days, putting all my focus on back testing. It's time-consuming. Tested the scalping strategy on over 300 trades across.
Results are mixed, some excellent, some not so good. The results will be shared when they are complete.
Bitcoin is currently in a no trade zone because it's tightly squeezed between two key pivots ; Monday high and Daily open.
Staying flat here until either one of these pivots gets reclaimed.
Been one hell of a ride since the original post. A lot of blood has been on the streetz. So far so good we are looking ready for the bottom.
