A bloodied passenger aboard the Tel Aviv-bound flydubai flight describes the moments after passengers reportedly helped overpower the alleged attacker.
“We overpowered the terrorist. We need help,” he says.

Israel is now treating the flydubai incident as a terrorist attack, according to updates from journalist Amit Segal.
The co-pilot allegedly repeatedly stabbed the captain before crew members and passengers broke into the cockpit and subdued him. A senior official says there are growing indications that the attacker intended to take control of the plane and crash it with the passengers on board.
The suspect is being questioned, and authorities are investigating his identity and background.
Israel is now considering sending an Israeli Air Force plane to Saudi Arabia to bring the passengers home, after El Al also offered to operate a rescue flight.

A flydubai flight carrying around 180 people from Dubai to Tel Aviv landed safely in Saudi Arabia after a dramatic mid-air emergency.
Unconfirmed passenger accounts say one pilot allegedly tried to crash the plane and was stopped by the other pilot with help from passengers. Passengers also reported a fight in the cockpit and one pilot being stabbed.
The plane issued emergency and possible hijacking signals and suddenly plunged thousands of feet, prompting Israel to scramble fighter jets.
Flydubai confirmed an “incident” and said everyone on board is safe. The airline is sending another plane to take the passengers to Israel.

Appeared today on ILTV Insider with host Calev Ben-David and analyst Gil Hoffman - recorded just before President Trump and PM Netanyahu sat down at the White House.
The alliance is strong - and it will remain strong.
Yes, there are public disagreements - over Iran, Gaza, and Lebanon. Yes, the political landscape in Washington is shifting. But let's be clear about what we know: Trump has done more for Israel than any president in modern history. The recognition of Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, the Abraham Accords, the military coordination against Iran - that record doesn't disappear because of tactical differences.
And the meeting today proved exactly that. The White House called it "positive and productive." Netanyahu himself described it as one of his greatest meetings ever with Trump. They reaffirmed their ironclad commitment to ensuring Iran never obtains nuclear weapons. The chemistry between the two leaders was visible. This is what a real alliance looks like.
What concerns me more than the differences between Netanyahu and Trump is what happens in November. The Republican majority in the House is razor thin. If Democrats take control, they will do everything in their power to unravel this alliance. That is the real threat.
If you are one of the more than 500,000 US citizens in Israel - register and vote. The future of the U.S.-Israel alliance depends in no small part on you.
