Nice preprint by @LauraMPillay and team!
Weinstein Lab's latest preprint is up! Great work by @LauraMPillay et al. looking at Rhoa function in vascular development. Here is a pic we took while working on the project. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Nice article from @BenjaminHogan13 about our new discovery of Zebrafish Brain Lymphatics published in @CircRes led by @dancastranova @SamasaBakary @vg_biomarina @calebmin Van, and Brant! #WeinsteinLab #Zebrafish #Lymphatics

Seriously?
Not to mention "non refundable fee of € 2,190" to "cover an editorial assessment & peer-review process. In return, they get a review".
So basically you get to pay € 2,190 to find out your paper was rejected 😳
Pretty sure this is not a “long-awaited alternative” @NatureNews
Many thanks to @NICHD_NIH for selecting me as the finalist of the NICHD Mentor of the Year! Many (x100) thanks to my former trainees who nominated me for this award and all the support from the #WeinsteinLab. I’ll strengthen my mentoring skills at my new home @UICPharmacology

Nice review paper from Yaniv Lab!
In the past few years different cell types were shown to generate lymphatic vessels in the embryo. Is this also the case for cancer-lymphatics? We discuss this in our new review! Read it here! 👇 frontiersin.org/article/10.3…

Cows make milk. They milk themselves.
Other cows check the milk (for free).
Cows - get this - PAY THE FARMER to take the milk away.
Then the farmer (you won't believe this, honestly) sells the milk *back to the cows.*

Cool work done by @dancastranova and #WeinsteinLab team! Another proof showing #Zebrafish is an awesome model to study #Lymphatics
Check out the latest #WeinsteinLab preprint! #Zebrafish have intracranial lymphatics similar to mammals. They originate from the facial lymphatic and we can image neutrophil trafficking and transmigration through the skull. biorxiv.org/cgi/content/shor…
Many people have been asking this question. Zebrafish also have meningeal lymphatics! Check out what we found @dancastranova @SamasaBakary @vg_biomarina #zebrafish #lymphatics #WeinsteinLab

Fact: Anti-angiogenic therapies hold promise in combatting tumor growth.
Problem: tumors produce too much pro-angiogenic ligands, lessening the efficacy of anti-angiogenic therapies.
Solution: it's all in this superb paper from @StratmanLab and Brant Weinstein in @NatureComms👇
