So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.

The @PoliceNG made me lose my brother yesterday, buried him today. They stopped him on the road on Saturday evening, he simply asked for an ID. These men spray teargas on his face and started beating him up. They pushed him, he hit his head on the roadside and that was it.
Would forever hate the Nigerian police force sha 💔

Anthony Obodo, 22 years from Emohua is dead because he was shot by Policemen from the Rivers State Police Division. He was not a bandit. He was not a kidnapper. He was not an armed robber. He was not a drug dealer. He was not found with any incriminating evidence on him. He was just killed like that because once in a while, Rivers State Policemen have to remind us that they have the power to take life and nothing will happen. Small boy with a bright future, now stolen from him. There will be no consequences as usual. Next week, another set of Policemen will mount a checkpoint at that same spot where Anthony was killed and life will go on as usual.

RIVERS POLICE COMMAND REACTS TO VIRAL VIDEO ON THE ALLEGED SHOOTING BY A POLICE OFFICER. The attention of the Rivers State Police Command has been drawn to a video circulating on social media on a shooting incident in which a police officer allegedly shot at a motorist while on wheels, resulting in the death of the occupant. Preliminary information indicates that on 27th August 2026, there was an altercation between the occupant, one Anthony Obodo (m) and there was a scuffle between the duo which led to gunshot and subsequently led to the death of the victim, in which two other passersby where injured. Following the incident, the alleged officer CPL Alfred Louis was attacked and assaulted by an angry mob, leading to him sustaining multiple injuries in the process. The officers and members of his team, are currently in State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) custody and will face appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with the law subject to the outcome of the investigation. The Command wishes to state unequivocally that the action is totally condemnable and does not reflect professionalism in policing and will not relent to carry out strict disciplinary actions against erring police officers. Anthony Wobodo is a fresh graduate waiting for NYSC. He has never been involved or convicted of any crime. His only crime was looking good, driving a good car and refusing to be extorted by NG police officers. Nigerian @PoliceNG murdered him on 27-08-2026 #JusticeForAnthony

Be accountable for once @PoliceNG, we will not let this matter slide. A car belonging to one @RbrnJerry was stolen but later recovered by the police, the owner identified the car after the recovery and was requested to pay a particular sum of money which he paid. Only at the time which he was supposed to take possession of the car, he was informed that the car had been sold by some police men right in the police station. This matter deserves the attention it needs, we must not keep quiet at the face of this injustice. Remember, today may be Mr. Oguji Jeremiah Onyebuchi, tomorrow it may be you or me. Let's help a brother to get justice, this must not be allowed. Repost, quote and tag the necessary authorities until justice is served. Attention: @PoliceNG @TunjiDisu1 @CspIniedu

Please help me share. Around 3 a.m. today, thieves broke into my shop in Owerri. They removed my CCTV camera, switched off my solar security light, and stole inverters, lithium batteries, my laptop, solar panels, breakers, cables, power banks, and more. They also broke into my neighbor’s supermarket. The video I’m posting was captured by my neighbor’s CCTV before the criminals removed that camera too. If you recognize anyone in this video or have any useful information please contact the nearest police station or send me a direct message. Please help share. One share could help identify those responsible. Thank you. Posted by Chimaijem Nwachukwu

Replying to @PoliceNG_CRU
@PoliceNG_CRU Please spread your message to officers on our road. IMAGINE IT'S NOT HARRISON? If this could happen to me, imagine what an ordinary citizen with no public platform might face. Videoing police officers while they are searching you is not a crime. Professional officers carrying out lawful duties should have nothing to fear from being recorded in public. When an officer's first concern is stopping you from recording instead of carrying out a lawful search, it raises serious questions about transparency and accountability. Every Nigerian deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and in accordance with the law. Observation: Incidents like this raise concerns about whether the Nigeria Police Force directives, public statements, and human rights guidelines are being adequately communicated to or followed by officers on our road 🤔 #EndPoliceBrutality #AlwaysFilmThePolice – at Okpanam, Nigeria
