Ohio’s rightly-celebrated industry recognized credential valuation framework has already been watered down. Fortunately, there’s still time to get it back on track. @a_churchill22 @caldis @educationgadfly

My new piece debunks three popular claims (using Ohio data):
1⃣ voucher expansion causes enrollment in public schools to decline,
2⃣ voucher $$ come out of public school funding,
3⃣ state K-12 funding has not kept up with district costs.

SB 19 takes a big swing at improving Ohio's mediocre math achievement. Yet, this story focuses on its costs. You know what's costly? Ohio's HS graduates not having the math skills to get jobs that result in a living wage. @VivekGRamaswamy @amyactonoh

Before you drop into partisan rhetoric, this common sense bill passed the Ohio Senate unanimously thanks to the leadership of @brennerforohio. The House should move quickly to pass it as well. fordhaminstitute.org/ohio/co…

Help me out, @AmericanAir. I'm in Miami and trying to get to Orlando. My 10:48 PM flight is delayed until 1:59 AM. The 7 pm flight to Orlando was also delayed and is leaving at 11:07. Standing at the gate and can't get anyone to add me to the flight. Disappointing.

If kids can’t read at the end of 4th grade, then they shouldn’t graduate to 5th grade until they can. Artificially “passing” students & patting them on the back isn’t compassion. It’s cruelty.

Nice thought piece. Too often, rural and small town students are ignored when talking about educational opportunities. I'm hopeful that a VP Vance would make sure they had a voice in DC.
What could a Vice President Vance do to advance rural and small town education? Quite a bit, explains @a_churchill22. fordhaminstitute.org/ohio/co…

Hey @AmericanAir. There's a situation developing at CMH. Flight 1140 to PHL is delayed until 9:55. More than 50 students from @OHIObands are supposed to be getting a plane in Philly to London (flight 728). Please do what you can to hold that flight. Really big trip for these kids – at Columbus, OH
Situation getting worse, @AmericanAir. Leadership and customer service desperately needed here. Many students have been rebooked and no longer have seats on the flight to London. At the same time, there have been announcements at PHL the flight will wait up to 2 hours. #Confusion
