Murray St. making it to Omaha is one of the best stories in college sports. This is their stadium it holds 800 people. Their head coach Dan Skirka literally cuts the grass.

Our youth system is beyond broken. We’ve devalued real coaches! Kids aren’t developed, they are overtrained, burned out, forced to specialize early & pressured to win at all costs. Structural change is needed! We don’t teach the game anymore! We promote the game & it’s killing us
I am just here for the @TheFrankIsola post/replies tonight. Can’t wait until tomorrow morning’s show.

Arrogant- somebody that thinks they are better than they are

"Stats show that less than 10 % of elite 10-year-old athletes are still elite at age 18. Only 8 % of Nobel Prize winners & world champions were child prodigies. In fact, the only thing that early success guarantees is… early success" ~ John O'Sullivan

Culture comes alive when you define the standard, live the standard, call others up to the standard and hold them (and yourself) accountable to the standard.

“Success is a day by day process. The only thing we can really do anything about is today, tomorrow, what’s immediately in front of us. Take advantage of every opportunity we have to build a team, improve the team, get better. Keep stringing a lot of good days together and the results will come,” Bill Belichick

I have had the privilege of working with some of the top teams and organizations in the world...
What I have found is that there are common characteristics, traits, and tendencies that these winning cultures ALL embody.
Two things to remember:
1) Success leaves clues (learn from others)
2) Leadership and culture are often simple, but not easy (it's important to have a process to follow)
That is why tomorrow (Wednesday, 7/10), I am hosting a brand new LIVE workshop where I will show you exactly what it takes to build a winning culture.
You will get a behind-the-scenes look at:
• My 5-step process to establish and enhance ANY culture
• The ONE common characteristic ALL championship cultures have
• Strategies to leverage to make it a collaborative experience with your team
• How you can continue to grow the culture you've built year after year.
This workshop is FREE to watch live and will go on until 8:30 pm EST.

Focus on the things YOU Control! Everyone wants their opinion to be heard, but not every opinion deserves to be valued.
Those who control their own controllables tend to be those who gain the most credibility. In order to properly lead, you must first be able to lead by example – at Madison Heights, MI
