When #ManchesterUnited were pushing for the Super League, I was appalled & was considering whether I would continue to support them before they backed down due to fan backlash.
Why is it that there appear to be zero #ManCity fans appalled by their club’s cheating willing to actually criticise their club/ consider withdrawing their support?
If this were United I’d be ashamed & accept - in fact, encourage - whatever punishments were felt to be appropriate, not be constructing narratives to excuse or dismiss the verdict on the #115charges

I love when a comment is so wrong, that I get to pick the way I want to rip it apart.
1) United’s had an academy product in every match day squad for 88 years. That’s more than any other club in the fucking world, leave alone those two tin pots.
2) Until another English club wins the treble with 7 academy players in the squad, none has an academy that is even on-par with United.
3) In the last 10 years, United have had 73 academy graduates play in the top 5 leagues. City have had 59; Chelsea, 51.
4) In that same time, United have had 37 academy graduates actually play for the club; Chelsea, 27; city, 19.
When it comes to the highest highs, United wins. When it comes to the longest run, United wins. When it comes to the most players in the top 5 leagues, United wins. When it comes to the most academy players to actually play for the club that trained them, United wins.
There are exactly two clubs with academies to even begin to rival United— Barca and Ajax. Nobody else comes close.

Lol, this is silly. Both City and Chelsea have much better academies than United.
His professional peers voting for him IS the evidence🙄
I don’t understand why there is so much controversy here - they are in the better position to judge than random folk on Twitter.

I’m sorry but the PFA Player of the Year should be between David Raya and Declan Rice for me.
Bruno had an incredible Premier League season, 21 assists is ridiculous, I won’t take that away from him.
But outside those numbers, what exactly are we rewarding here?
Raya and Rice were key players in a team that actually won the Premier League. Bruno’s United finished 3rd.
And then he went to the World Cup with Portugal alongside Ronaldo, Vitinha, João Neves etc. and finished with 0 goals and 1 assist in 5 games.
If Bruno wins the PFA tonight, I’m genuinely questioning what this award is supposed to represent anymore.

There are an endless number of factors to every transfer, both on the player and the club sides.
The transfer may or may not be a success.
Either way fans need to get beyond a new player and support them from the start. Period.

Even if it does “go down hill”, that doesn’t mean that;
A) there is a [perceived] better manager available right now
B) that they would perform better than Carrick in this specific role at this specific time
If Carrick win the league will anyone apologise?

No club in the world, will get rid of an interim manager that has gathered more points than anyone else since he arrived
Any sensible club would at least give said manager a short term contract
It's only Man Utd fans that think they're wise
Senior players like Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire & Casemiro came out and said the players are happy with Carrick, respect him, and hope the board keeps him for next season.
But Mark from 𝕏 said Iraola is better, so INEOS should listen to him 🤣
I’m going to bookmark this for next May.
🚨🗣️ Paul Merson: “Liverpool will finish above Man United next season. And that's without knowing what happens this summer.
“Why? So many players have had good seasons for Man United and hardly anyone has for Liverpool, bar Szoboszlai.
“You go through Man Utd's team and there's six or seven players who have been above average this season.
“Isak will be fit, Wirtz will have a year in the league. I'm confident Liverpool will finish above Man Utd.
“A lot's gone on at Liverpool. I do feel sorry for them with everything that's gone on. They've had a lot of injuries too.” #MUFC [Sky]

Your doctor spent 30 seconds with you not because they don't care.
Because they're scheduled to see 40 patients in 8 hours.
That's 12 minutes per patient.
