Congratulations! Go, Dawgs!!!
Last week the AAC Women’s tennis conference championships were held at Methodist University. It was a great day of tennis and we are proud to announce that the Lady Bulldogs came away as 3A Individual champions in both singles and doubles for the 4th consecutive year.
Sophomore Pauline Bui, who is 1/2 of the defending doubles state champion duo, came away with the conference championship in Singles.
Junior Lauren Ruppe battled her way to the championship and finished as the conference runner-up after facing off with her fellow Lady Bulldog in the championship.
In doubles play, Junior Loren Galaviz and Freshman Jenny Wang rolled through the competition and won the doubles championship in the conference tournament. Loren is the other 1/2 of the defending doubles state champion duo.
All 4 of these young ladies will head up to Burlington this weekend October 18-19 to represent the conference in the MidEast Regional Championships.
Congratulations to all these young ladies and good luck as they head off to compete for a bid at the Individual State Championships which will be October 25-26 in Burlington
