Stanley Druckenmiller said back in February that he didn't expect to make money on his short U.S. Treasury position, but if he was right about the economy, he expected to make a LOT!
Fast forward to today...
He was right - and he's absolutely crushing it!

Since late February, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield has risen by roughly 80 basis points, creating a massive tailwind for short-duration bond positions. .

He’s not using it for profit - he’s using it as a hedge against higher-risk bets in:
- Korea, Japan & Brazil

Important context: Druckenmiller knows he has a massive retail following. Timing matters. When a legendary macro investor publicly lays out positioning, you have to consider the possibility that exposure is already being reduced into strength. i.e. you are the exit liquidity!!

Notably Oracle also was the first Publicly Listed US company outside of drillers and Miners (or Covid) to use Force Majeur to avoid paying on a data center lease it couldn’t afford, since… you guessed it… Enron.

Sleep peacefully, America. ICE caught Sister Leticia Ugboaja walking to Sunday Mass.
She had a valid work permit, attended EVERY required immigration appointment and complied with EVERY condition of her court-ordered protection.
A nun. A nurse. Following the rules. Walking to church.
Thank God they got to her before she could receive Communion.
It took intervention from members of Congress to help secure her release. Apparently, a work permit and doing everything immigration officials require aren’t quite as effective as knowing someone in Congress.
So much for “do it the right way" hey MAGA????
