Actual footage of me looking for FAMU to be mentioned by @NCAABaseball . The Rattlers had a historical season! @FAMU_Baseball showed up/showed out in regionals. More good things are heading their way…hoping the NCAA will do a better job of acknowledging they exist next year.

Asked Jared Weber after today's game what playing for Coach Shouppe meant to him. His answer and coach's follow up tell you all you need to know. Hate that we won't get to see this team play baseball again, but love we got to watch them at all. #FAMU #FAMUly

Today, I’m shadowing #FAMU baseball team. Be on the lookout for the story following today’s NCAA Tournament Regional game against #UConn. Might even see me step to the plate or pitch an inning. 👀

Let’s GO, Rattlers! Beat UConn. You’ve GOT THIS! 🧡💚🐍⚾️
Ryan Kelly@RyanLKelly3 Jun 2023
Long day and a really, really tough recap to write. The Rattlers did so many things right but just couldn't bring guys home when it counted. All I know is I wouldn't want to be UConn at noon.

Shouppe handed Zach his first pair of batting gloves when he was 5 or 6 (my mom-who left us in 2007 way too soon-gifted Zach a summer camp) and he wore them despite being way too big…today Zach wears a glove FOR Shouppe and for a TEAM he absolutely loves!
G. Thomas III@3peatgee2 Jun 2023
Jamey Shouppe doesn’t want the shine. But he deserves it. Why? Because successfully completed the challenge of leading the resurgence of #FAMU’s baseball program. ⚾️ 🎙: Jamey Shouppe, Zach ‘Everyday’ Morea, @jaredweb20 via @TDOnline tallahassee.com/story/sports…

Determination and diligence pushes Jamey Shouppe to lead FAMU baseball's reawakening

FAMU baseball head coach Jamey Shouppe has led the Rattlers to three conference championships (2015, 2019, 2023) and three of NCAA Tournament appearances.
