Well, after 40 years of writing and publishing novels, I think I'm burned out. I feel nothing for the characters I'm writing about, lose interest in the story after a few chapters. After seven years of feeling this way, it may be time to hang it up.

Tomorrow October 2nd marks a year this beautiful boy meowed at my door and when I opened it, this straggly, flea covered baby, strolled in, and made himself comfortable on my chaise as if he always lived here. I am forever grateful he chose me to be his Mom. Love you Uncle Howdy.
