Recruiters, how do you feel about web development portfolio sites built to resemble the websites of big brands? #tech #Recruiters @tdesseyn
I literally quit the best job I ever had because Wells Fargo was my client. Went to work everyday filled with shame. Warned management repeatedly and was ignored.

Where are my OG #gossipgirl fans at? Just rebuilt a new portfolio page today. Look familiar? xo xo

Just realized (watching Voyager) that in Star Trek they never say "Universe", only "Galaxy". So that means (with the exception of a few episodes) everything takes place in the Milky Way. 🤯
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Tracker just got some updates! Let me know of anything that you would like to see added. Trying out @render since cyclic has been crashing a lot.

Big shoutout to @cyclic_sh CTO @mike_korostelev for helping me figure out why my app was crashing occasionally! Glad to know the problem was on my end! If you have a #FullStack application that you need to host, Cyclic is highly recommended! #TechTwitter
yeah the db connect is the issue -
github.com/ChrisThompsonDev/…
On some requests the server begins to listen to requests before the db connection is established.
Take a look at the example here and how app.listen happens after connectDB in the callback:

This is so great and super helpful to those learning #javascript array methods! Unfortunately, it is making me hungry.
Shoutout to @rammcodes for all of the great (and visually stunning) tools that they make!

So what is everyone using to host their full-stack apps now that Heroku no longer has a free tier? I have tried Render, but it is slow to load the site after downtime, and cyclic just goes down for a minute or so occasionally. Railway seems to run well but it is not truly free.
Check out this Medium article by @peoplespoet about how computers are being held back by our limited ways of thinking, and how the things they experience are becoming reality to us! #TechTwitter

I have it hosted here:

Cyclic: pokemontracker.cyclic.app/
Broke out the giant pad to do some whiteboarding for a new website analog style! #webdevelopment #Webdesign #Web #FullStack
Does anyone have advice on how to draw out local web developers/engineers in your local area? I live in a very rural area and the closest meetup that I can find is 45 minutes away. I'd love to start one myself, I just don't know how to get people to see it.
Having trouble keeping track of your #Pokedex in #PokemonScarletViolet ? Try out my new web app! Keep track of your dex, gym, titan and team star progress! I have also added other tools to help you on your journey through Paldea! #100Devs

I didn't keep track of the total number of jobs for this current cohort of #100Devs so far, but tonight is the last class, so I needed to add them up
We're over 200 and folx really just started interviewing...
Excuse me while I sit here stunned and trying not to cry
