Calling all BYU engineers 🛠️ Giving Cougsday is here! Right now, our five departments are competing for $30,000 in that aid, and the top three are decided by how many people give, not how much. Any amount counts! Give by Wednesday at 11:59 PM. give.churchofjesuschrist.org…

You should try. See how far you can go. To all the incoming freshmen, as the new semester approaches, don't overthink it. Just start. Sign up for the club, pitch the idea, build the thing. This is your time to figure out what you're capable of.

What does it take to do the “impossible”? Sam showed us. He ran 52 laps around the Engineering Complex in 100° heat while battling stomach issues, proving he could finish what he started. When a problem feels impossible, remember Sam. You can do hard things, too. 💙

What does it take to keep a country below sea level dry? This spring, 18 BYU civil and construction engineering seniors traveled through the Netherlands and Denmark with Dr. Dan Ames to find out. Their biggest lesson? The Dutch don't fight water. They make room for it.
