No matter the budget, the bigger issue is that TP should unionize his productions. Many of his projects are non-union, and changing that could make a real difference for the working actors on his shows.
It’s great when the top actors are paid well, but what about the journeymen actors—the people building careers one role at a time? Healthcare, residuals and union protections help them stay in this business for the long haul.
This isn’t just about the stars. It’s about supporting the entire cast.

Macklemore says Ed Sheeran and his team decided to remove him from tour due to his comments in support of Palestine, after Kraft Group rallied stadium owners and gave Ed an ultimatum:
“[Ed] told me that the words ‘Free Palestine’ and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, ‘I don't take sides.’”
