My humble tribute to Havildar Abdul Hamid whose tactical brilliance and courage laid the burial ground for scores of Patton tanks in 1965 war. I began my Punjab pilgrimage by visiting his memorial meticulously preserved by Indian Army as a testimony to true spirit of India.
Thanks @seemay !
Thanks @nistula for your kind words! Grateful
The unending plight of workers of the unorganised sector in India. The police action in Noida and Ghaziabad rendered them highly vulnerable to the state’s strong arm measures! indianexpress.com/article/op…

Excellent write up by @rakeshasthaana explaining how internal security grid has been strengthened! He is one of the finest minds on internal security issues.
Lauding PM @narendramodi for becoming India's longest-serving democratically elected PM in consecutive terms, the article by Shri Ajay Singh notes that PM Modi symbolises the genius of India and has altered the country's political mindset. He praises PM Modi’s social welfare schemes for covering vulnerable sections of society and addressing people’s most pressing concerns.
Thanks @bypankajkumar for being so generous! Your observation is very insightful and well written!
If one had to distill the last 12 years of Prime Minister @narendramodi’s leadership into a single idea, @byajaysingh Sir’s article does it remarkably well.
The most striking observation is that Modi sought to change the political mindset rather than merely the political discourse. Such shifts are never incremental—they are disruptive, and disruption inevitably invites both applause and criticism.
A precise yet profound piece that deserves to be read in full.
An analysis of incredible political journey of Narendra Modi as he becomes longest serving democratically elected Prime Minister of the country.

#NarendraModi surpasses #JawaharlalNehru’s record as India’s longest-serving elected PM. Is this merely a milestone of political longevity, or does it mark the rise of the defining political leader of 21st-century #India?

Delighted to be in @TISSpeak to attend a seminar on “Cities and Development in India”. TISS has rightfully earned its exceptional place in academia because of its brilliant faculties and talented students. Eager to meet with them and my scholar friend Professor Badri Narayan.
Thanks @nistula for pointing this out. In fact I have rarely come across a politician who would ever agree to quit on account of his health or incapacities! Narcissism has hollowed moral content out of politics .
“Politics is run by ambition, by a bunch of narcissists….”- just one of the many gems in this intv with @byajaysingh on post #Nitish politics in #Bihar
Always a pleasure to talk to @nistula whose insight observations enrich any discussions!
