Testnet3 reset?
Closed by maflcko as resolved.
maflcko: testnet3 being large is a feature.

Testnet3 is never going to be reset, period.

This is getting pretty insane,
look at this,
You pay a plumber $100.
After tax, the plumber keeps $70.
The plumber pays a house cleaner $70.
After tax, the cleaner keeps $49.
The cleaner pays a delivery driver $49.
After tax, the driver keeps about $34.
The driver pays a mechanic $34.
After tax, the mechanic keeps about $24.
The mechanic pays a server $24.
After tax, the server keeps about $17.
Keep repeating the process.
Each time the money moves, more gets taxed until the gov has collected nearly the whole original $100.
oh and now introduce money printing / inflation...
we are getting close to another tea party if you ask me
the next big rotation may start with an asset nobody is talking about.
once demand catches up, silence can turn into a stampede.
It's not our responsibility and our privilege to fight freedoms fight.

A common response is “if they truly believe this, why are they still building it?” At OpenAI, many have not deeply internalized the civilizational stakes. At Anthropic, the stakes are well-understood, but they are locked in a race to get there first - they believe no one else will act responsibly, so they must do it themselves, despite the risk.
IMPORTANT PSA FOR ALL BITCOINERS
So in spite of most influencers not saying a word about this, back in 2020 an issue was raised on the Bitcoin repo to reset testnet3.
When the devs realized they couldn’t because it had already been entrenched for a decade, they flipped to ...
the position that a longer test chain is actually better for deep systems testing — and that testnet3 would basically live forever.
What we have now is a fully decentralized proof-of-work chain with the exact same 21 million coin limit as mainnet. It’s so far into its
The real asymmetric play is still sitting there: testnet3 mining cost is still stupid high relative to what people will pay. Same setup as early Bitcoin. Most of you will keep ignoring it though.
Stop losing capital trying to leverage trade BTC. Need a big multiplier? Look for the biggest asymmetric bet since the early days of Bitcoin where mining costs exceeded real world value of Bitcoin.
The same thing is happening to testnet3 now, mining cost is 1000x current value.
Half of you are more likely to research flat earth nonsense instead of the mining cost of testnet3 and it escaping the reset turning into decentralized rogue chain with real value.
Most of you probably don't realize the UD dollar is down 25% against the Mexican peso since Jan 2025.
The US dollar is absolute trash in every single way.
Photographer: Put him in plush yet pretentious cardigan.
Close, but make it gayer.
Great.
Now make him fiddle with his Buddy Holy glasses.
Yes, now make him look confused and retarded.
Perfect.
Testnet3 requires you to actual know how to use Bitcoin in order to hold it. There's no manipulated ETF, no margin trading, just a free market based on scarcity, decentralization and mining costs. Most people don't know how to get any, or how to hold it. Still early.
So that's the playbook.
- Business owner wants to open biz
- City denies
- Business owner sues for unfair denial
- City extorts Business owner in-trade for your civil liberties and civil rights
Trust me bro
Yes, the gold is there all (approximately) 147 million ounces. It is impressive, but the real point is what it still teaches in 2026.
In 1971 we severed the dollar from gold. Since then the currency has lost roughly 85% of its value. Prices are higher because the money itself is weaker.
A family making $50,000 with two kids that has not received a 25% raise in the last five years is falling behind.
This is now often called “affordability,” but the the accurate word is inflation.
We run annual deficits of two trillion dollars. The Federal Reserve buys about a third of that debt by creating new money. Every new dollar dilutes the value of the dollars already in people’s pockets. Gold does not expand when Congress spends. Paper does.
That is the difference.
Whoever normalized dynamically loading content deserves the execution chair.
It's so cool that I can't scroll to the bottom a page because the page loads a new 25 rows each time I scroll down.
This if infinitely worse than having to wait a few seconds upfront to load it.
Isn't it weird that the SP bottomed at $666 in March 2009? The SP is now at record highs heading for the next occult target of 8880, which is appropriately the esoteric void end in numerology representing dissolution of power and stepping into the void to start the cycle again.
We've been deboosted again for "unauthentic behavior" which is not only inaccurate, it's extremely broad and vague. Nothing about this account is not authentic. Testnet3 has a legitimate value case and all activity is manual and authentic. Critical thinking is punished on X.
