๐Ÿ”นDear @KandishayaTaura: You will be thinking that we are going back to 2014, isu tano nanga ku 1975! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ธThe Mgagao Declaration was authored in October 1975 , please note โ€œOctober โ€œ , by young ZANLA military officers to address a severe leadership crisis, logistical neglect, and political stagnation following the assassination of ZANU Chairman Herbert Chitepo. ๐Ÿ”นThe document served as an explicit vote of no confidence against ZANU's founding president, Reverend Ndabaningi Sithole, accusing him of abandoning his troops, misappropriating funds, neglecting fallen guerrillas, and participating in compromised talks. Consequently, the declaration completely rejected โ€œdetenteโ€ negotiations with Ian Smithโ€™s Rhodesian regime, establishing armed military struggle as the only acceptable path to liberation.๐Ÿ“ โ€œHatisi Kudzorora Here Kuita Zvatakambotadza?โ€

This is how the EFF in Nkomazi entered the Samora Machel Monument and Museum in Mbuzini village earlier today. They all started panicking and sent police to shoot at our fighters for simply marching towards the Monument in commemoration of a revolutionary. We are fearless ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Presidential spokesman George Charamba - who has served decades in the corridors of power - found himself caught in a familiar communication dilemma yet again when his immediate boss President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga used the same Shona expression, "mazvake mazvake", in their polarised addresses to the just-ended Zanu PF Annual National People's Conference in Chinhoyi on Saturday, with some people suggesting he had written or influenced both, trying to serve two masters at the same time. He was accused of influencing both rival speeches in which Mnangagwa, clearly referring to Chiwenga, said "MuZanu PF hakuna mazvake mazvake (there is no room for individualism or pursuit of personal agendas in Zanu PF". He appeared to be responding to what Chiwenga had earlier said in a scathing speech while introducing him to the conference. Chiwenga said "mazvake mazvake haana kwaanotisvitsa" (pursuit of personal interests will not take us anywhere). The two clashing addresses put Charamba, who is Mnangagwaโ€™s spokesperson but close to Chiwenga, in a dilemma. Vocal former Zanu PF Mashonaland West provincial chairman and ex-Norton independent MP, Temba Mliswa, publicly attacked Chiwenga's speech, calling it "corrosive and discordant" when compared to Mnangagwa's. Mliswa targeted Charamba directly for the administration's "internal messaging disaster", warning if Charamba was responsible for crafting contradictory speeches for the country's leadership, he represented an "existential danger to the coherence of the state" and should be fired. Charamba and Mliswa have traded barbs over political loyalty and communication issues for a long time. Mliswa has previously called for Charambaโ€™s dismissal, while Charamba has described Mliswa as a nonentity. Politically, Mliswa's achievements have been phenomenal given that he has not been a political activist in an organisationally and ideologically grounded, structured and consistent way, rising from through the ranks. He is largely a self-made major political actor. Charamba has been government's communication czar for decades. He joined the public service in 1984 as a press officer in the Ministry of Information, Post and Telecommunication Services, and was seconded as Press Secretary to the late former ceremonial president Canaan Banana from 1984 to 1987. After Banana's office was abolished following the 1987 Unity Accord and a major power structural shift (abolishing the ceremonial presidency and prime minister's positions for the executive presidency), Charamba joined the late former president Robert Mugabe's office in 1988 as an Assistant Secretary in President's Information Unit (deputising Linda Chihuri), and later became Mugabe's official Press Secretary; much later Permanent Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Services starting in 2000. Now he is Deputy Chief Secretary for Presidential Communications in the Office of the President and Cabinet and Presidential Spokesperson. Charamba has over the decades tried to maintain reasonably good political and media relations (in the olden days he would even take critical private media journalists to tour the Presidentโ€™s Office and ensure collaborative relations). However, he would also become combative and personal in his interactions with media and journalists. He would act crude and nasty (hiding under pseudonyms on newspaper columns initially and later social media), earning himself critics and opponents within and outside the ruling and government. He sometimes targeted certain journalists and media platforms, especially those that remain stubbornly independent, expose leadership, governance and policy failures, as well as corruption and incompetence, within the regime he serves. At times he becomes downright petty and vindictive; excludes certain media platforms or journalists from state occasions, mainly access to Mnangagwa. Charamba has been good, bad and ugly in his communication practice.

Cement price in Zim: US$12 - $15 per bag. In Zambia: $4 to $6. That means if my construction operations where in Zambia - I would be TWO times bigger than I'm in Zim and able to build TWO times the sizes of my Projects. Now you see Mukoma @Jamwanda2 why we say ED must now rest?
1/2) Comrade @Jamwanda2 since you decided to personally challenge me by asking "Chii chawakavaka in Chipinge" - I will just show you the few cement invoices worth US$53 000 I bought this year. Clearly written "Chipinge delivery". You are lucky that Twitter allow only 4 pics!

Chiwenga subtly questions @edmnangagwa recent appointments of so-called "young blood" to both government and party structures like the Central Committee and Politburo. Chiwenga said, "while change is inevitable, it must be orderly" and "anchored in our party structures and guided by our constitution." Clearly, Chiwenga was taking a dig at ED's appointments, which have been benefitting the President's cronies, particularly his corrupt business associates now derogatorily known as "Zvigananda." ED hasn't been following party or national constitutions in creating and appointing Zvigananda to different positions. We have seen a galaxy of so-called "presidential advisors" who are appointed by ED and imminently become obscenely monied and infamous for splashing their largesse with tone-deaf arrogance, childishness and outright stupidity. VP Chiwenga further reminded President Mnangagwa of the need for ensuring Zanu-PF pursues the "Gutsaruzhinji" ideology and reminded him of his Nov 2017 dictum that "the voice of the people is the voice of God." This is the dictum that ED ran with shortly after grabbing power from former President, Robert Gabriel Mugabe. VP Chiwenga implored ED to consider his legacy and reminded him that the current leadership of Zanu-PF "are merely temporary custodians" of the party because their "time on earth is finite." Chiwenga reminded Mnangagwa of the honor of respecting one's own words. This is something ED has completely forgotten, overlooked or entirely disregarded. ED has, on countless occasions, come out insisting that he is a constitutionalist who was prepared to relinquish power in 2028 when his constitutional second term expired but, in practice, he has shown that he is an enemy of constitutionalism by mutilating the constitution of the republic to give himself illegal extra tenure in office. Chiwenga warned Mnangagwa that "the younger generation is watching" his "conduct with sharp attention." He implored that the the party's leadership should be true to its words and keeps its promises of leading by hearkenig to the "voice of the people." He said leadership's "words must find full expressions" in actions, "placing service above personal ambition" and that a leader must "strive to leave Zanu-PF stronger" than they found it. Chiwenga's speech read like a final warning to a dear comrade who has gone rogue. It sounded like what musician Leonard Zhakata sang about when he says "zvawadai wakura, chirega ndikupewo ndikupewo chirairo chekuguma" nokuti "kufa hakuna gumi ramazuva mwanangu."

PLEASE SHARE๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ | Please help me identify and locate this man. Yesterday, I parked my blue Honda Fit at the corner of Cameron Street and Bank Street in Harare CBD. Unfortunately, I left my car unlocked while I went to buy some items at a nearby shop. The man pictured allegedly approached my vehicle and stole a laptop bag containing a MacBook M1, a sound card, a printer cable, an external hard drive and US$500 in cash. I checked CCTV footage from nearby shops and managed to trace his movements. He actually followed me to the shop where I was making my purchases, and the shopโ€™s CCTV captured a clear view of his face. Another CCTV camera captured him opening my vehicle, taking the laptop bag and leaving the scene. The case has already been reported to the ZRP. Anyone who can identify this man or provide information that may help locate him is kindly asked to contact me on: 0774070323 @PoliceZimbabwe
