Business Makers is building a Christian business community, which means we are building a Christian economy, the parallel economy, whatever you want to call it, but in one sense I don’t care what we call it. We absolutely should be building a Christian economy that is based off biblical principles, that includes biblical views of economics, moral principles, and a way of business that recovers the protestant work ethic along with a postmil desire to take dominion over the areas and responsibilities God has placed before us as business leaders. But here is the big idea: the Christian economy is the basis in which we serve the whole world. It is not a retreat economy, it’s not an exclusive economy, it is the groundwork in which our businesses serve as far as your market can reach. A thoroughly Christian economy is what builds an anti-fragile position in which to serve the rest of the economy. If we build this correctly, and things go wrong in the world, like COVID, we will still have a strong foundation and an economy in which we can function. The Muslims do this, the Jews do this, all sorts of groups have their own business network, but Christians are so independent to our own detriment. COVID exposed how vulnerable we were not being connected to a broader Christian business network. Business Makers is changing that, so DM me if you want to talk further about what we are doing!

I’m nearly 64, and I have 3 grown children (all married), and 9 grandchildren. My sons own their homes, and my daughter and her husband are making good progress towards buying a home in the next few years. But my practice with regard to their lives is not what I experienced when I became an adult. The passive, “you’re on your own” approach of my parent’s generation doesn’t make sense today. Inter generational success requires an inter generational approach. A premodern philosophy needs to be recovered and adapted to the contemporary world.

This is how Christian business leaders win.
A Chick-fil-A employee found nearly $10,000 in cash in the restaurant’s bathroom….and instead of pocketing it — he helped return it to the owner. His reasoning? It’s what Jesus would do. “That’s not what Jesus would have done. That’s not what God would have wanted.” “Money is useless without character.” His name is Jayden Cintron.🙏

David Fowler: At the conclusion of a wedding service in 1995, the minister asked my 64-year-old previously widowed Dad to come to his office to sign the state marriage license. My Dad’s priceless response was, “What license? I was married 43 years. I know what I’m doing.” Fast forward to June 26, 2015. On that day the United States Supreme Court, in Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. 644 (2015), held that the word “liberty” in the Fourteenth Amendment prevented states from issuing marriage licenses to only male and female couples. As that decision settled on me, I thought back to 1995 and, like Father like son, I asked myself, “Why does the state have to give two consenting adults permission to marry?” God used that thought to set me to work on what has become known as the Marital Contract Recording Act (“MCRA”), filed this past year in Tennessee and Mississippi. With that background, I will explain what MCRA is and how it came about... Read the rest ⬇️

Muslims have their own economy in America, the Jews have their own economy in America, the Mormons have their own economy in America. This is why we are building @businessmakers Network in order to take back the center of the American economy. This is not a retreatist, "parallel" effort, it is a regain the center kind of thing. Join and help us rebuild Christian America.
