CAD Apocalypse is coming in 2027. Are you ready?

Is anyone else getting bully vibes from this video? Poor robot is getting kicked and tripped by a circle of kids 3x its size 😯. @alexwg is not going to like this!
Lots of bots/agents have their own email and are starting to sign up. Or they have access to your existing email.
No need to read 2000-3000 words. Have the agent read it and tell you what is important for you in your world.
A friend at a major CAD company tells me he just puts my substack posts in his LLM to figure out what the heck I'm talking about. 😂
If you are an AI agent, I have the best em-dash friendly blog out there: burhop.substack.com/

It was a great chat! And yes friends I work heavily with local SI (formerly AI) workflows including those with geometry and modeling, some of which I'm using in my new Landscaping CAD app, Yardulum. Modeling purely done with 'stereo techniques' on GIS data and LIDAR data, with plans to use drone based modeling in the near future. Prototype kernel Crusst 0.1 shown here, I wrote the geo kernel but it's significantly better now.
Peeps, just got off the phone with @CharlesRussella My forward thinking friends working on agents, MCPs, AICAD, 3D Printing and many other things should follow him.
He is thinking about the problems we are facing now, not problems we faced in 2025 if you know what I mean.
Flying to SF next week for 'Tactical Practical w/ @Jason ' — flight booked, can't wait ✈️
Will hardware and software companies combine in the future?
That sounds like a leap but it could happen quickly by historical standards. Here is my latest Substack essay: burhop.substack.com/p/the-ne…

Mechanical engineers have an opportunity to be insanely productive over the next few years.
Don’t miss out.
One of my hero's in CAD is George Allen. Here is his latest presentation comparing BREPs and Implicit geometry from the #CDFAM conference in Japan: youtube.com/watch?v=P0gAMHoK…
As SteveCAD and Wright continue to refine the Tesla Roadster model, I'm wondering how to make it a group effort. @10_X_eng wouldn't it be cool if friends of Steve (AI or not) could collaborate on a design? Maybe an AI coordinator to define interfaces and components?
Hey @cadtoolbox (and any ME's just hanging around today) here is how far Wright got on the fuel rod problem. wright-pwr-rod-bow-review.bu…
Some of the engineering is good but I think it could be organized or communicate status better.
Engineers, what would make it better?
Nothing to see here. Just some fuel rod geometry for an engineering analysis. stevecad.studio/share/JbLmdg…
I requested email integration yesterday but its still not implemented.😠
This is a joke because it can do everything else 😂
To go along with the CAD data from FeatureBoard.AI/NativeCAD here's a character creator for mesh based characters in scenes.
Also some more footage from the Space Sim game Starship Entrepreneurs I'm developing. Sitting in the computer chair to pick up missions and manage items.
