ALSO YA KNOW WHAT tip for artists living paycheck to paycheck: have enough saved/put away for whatever your most expensive refund could be I get you might have to pay bills asap with what you earn!! but always always make sure you have a refund amount tucked away

i dont wanna repeat the "dont use the money until the work is done" topic because it really do be hard out here and sometimes bills have to be paid but you want to retain trust with your clients and having enough for someone to be refunded is such a good safety blanket

You've GOTTA schedule yourself well as an artist. 😭 My TAT is 1 month max on most items and I even expect some to reach out halfway through bc they've probably been burned before. SHOOT I FEEL BAD RN CUS I WAS JUST OFF FOR A WEEK AND IM STRUGGLING TO HOP BACK IN FULL SPEED

on the client side ive only been scammed once and it was for twitch overlays that i never got and the artist got suspended and her friend just got called out not long ago for ALSO scamming despite being popular so...........ye
