With retail you're betting the item sells. With amazon you're betting you can sell.

Reverse source loops not sellers. Don't find products find margin.

Highly Recommend using a Calendar to track big sales for retailers, and seasonal products. This will be useful data that I will be using next year.

What you want to do is often the opposite of what you need to do.

Most people read the keepa chart backwards. Learning how to read it forward and predict the future imo is more important.

Replying to @builtbyteazhi
@builtbyteazhi built DMS for us within 3 hours. Actually the 🐐 This platform mainly for our admin VAs to track what needs to be purchased, handle COGS incorrect reimbursements, as well adding prep center and sb bulk upload sheets.
I built this fully functional dashboard in 4 hours... with Claude Code. If you are not spending time figuring out how to prompt AI to build real tools, you're falling behind. This one now gives our group 90% of the data they need to make smarter restocking decision.

With the recent news over the bigger Amazon seller who just recently had some issues with his business, I just want to add my 2 cents only because a lot of my TL is a lot of fear mongering. I don’t know almost anything about this guy, so I won’t say anything about him personally. But please understand if ur trying to grow OA, it’s not gonna happen with old methods. You really gotta treat it as a healthy and sustainable business. Which means, following rules + staying diverse in your portfolio. Don’t put all your chips on black, don’t Chad scale if u don’t got the cash, don’t sell things you aren’t supposed to. Understand your success will take time. But that’s why few make it and many fail. Bc they aren’t patient. They want fast money, and don’t care how they get it. I’ve seen so many changes from amz in the past year, and it’s caused a lot of sellers heartache. But for a lot of these sellers, there always seems to be a silver lining. It’s more common than u think. Not all your favorite X accounts are playing by the book. I don’t say this to be unmotivating, but rather to keep it real. So wherever u are in your business, just do yourself a favor and do it right. And again no shade to anyone in particular I am just voicing what I have seen, and want to give my opinion on the OA landscape. So hopefully we can start seeing more positivity on the TL. Community needs it and it needs to be AUTHENTIC. Sellers are tired of the fluff.

Yeah, saw his seller board. Should have bought more. Bro is making over 1k a day in profit right now 🤣
Bet big and dropped over 15k on inventory for this SINGLE product. 5 different listings & keepa graphs all look like this... Dropped these bangers in the group chat a week ago. Looks like we'll all be eating. 🤑

THIS IS CRAZY!!! This retailer damaged one of my shipments, when they sent the replacement I found a discount code that wasn't on any public coupon extension. Turns out it zeroes out the price. Just placed another order with the code. If it ships, I'm going hammer this loop.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Who am I: Doing around 25k in revenue and selling for 11 months, doing OA and wholesale. I never wrote a book. Overall, I enjoyed the book. It was an easy read, jam packed with value (My favorite types of books)
Halfway through @coreyganim book. Will be giving a detailed review, as well as possible points of improvement when finished. So far, so good.

Potential Modifications: Make an audio book. (I know many people prefer that format) (I usually read and listen to the audio book at the same time)

Adding another book “Advanced wholesale”, which dives deeper into cold calls, how to respond to rejections, how to vet suppliers, section 3’s and how to prove authentic distributors, other advanced concepts you learned as you scaled past 7 figures.
