Visited Mornington Road in Preston this morning to see development on our exciting project with @buildingwithyou. Last time we visited the building was up to first floor, now the roof is on and first fix has been carried out on the ground floor.

Always a pleasure to hand over a cheque to @FCWA_ - this was for the £1,150.00 raised completing the Lake District Ultra Challenge on 10th/11th June (100km in 24 hours).
Thank you again to everyone who supported us on that most recent Challenge.
So - Jem, Philip and Michael completed their first Lake District Ultra Challenge this weekend.
Started 8.30am on Saturday and finished 8.28am on Sunday.
100km / 62 miles within the 24 Hour target.

This Saturday (27th May), Mark Turnbull will be cycling 150 miles (Coast to Coast) in a day - yep 150 miles in a day.
To support the "Thumbs up for Charlie Foundation".

One of the big challenges we face is young people feeling uninspired to work. Our World of Work Project saw our Seniors head into the new housing developing on Grange Park to meet the tradespeople and try their hand at brick laying with @buildingwithyou. They loved it! 💙❤️
